Rooms look newly renovated and are clean, location is within walking distance of museums, restaurants, and sights. Tiny elevators welcome due to the eight flights of stairs. Staff was friendly. Only complaint is that the beds are not very comfortable, and the wifi could be faster. Otherwise, great!

I could not have asked for a better location, with many great shops, pubs and good restaurants nearby, right next to the Gran Via metro station and in the heart of the city. I booked hostal Jerez, but they checked me in in hostal luis. Both property are in same building owned by same family. Location cannot get any better, right next to Gran Via metro station. Room was clean. Internet was alright. Excellent for budget stay. Will recommend. Value for money!

We had 3 Rooms for 5 nights in this Hostel. The location is great. Everything is walking distance. The rooms are small clean and you get what you booked. The Internet is worst. The sleep quality is also very worst. So it is a really Hostel. The Staff at the front desk is very friendly and the speak english :-))
