The only thing going for this hotel is that it is indeed central. Period. It might have been lovely during its glory days 100+ years ago, but no longer. You are in a time warp - and not in a good way. Certainly the grillwork throughout the hotel is beautiful and the old staircase. But it ends there. It was... More

Stayed here for a few nights whilst at a conference. Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Best things -very central location, free wif-fi. Not so good: small, dark bedroom with window onto an internal vent shaft. Base don the hotel plan it looks as though many rooms are similar except those at the front looking onto the street. No... The hotel is extremely central. Walking distance to shops and Cathedral. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean. We had a room overlooking the main road, however, we heard no traffic noise at all since the rooms are double glazed. Beds are comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was in abundance and served in lovely surroundings. I would highly... More

I stayed at the Reina Victoria for two nights in early April with three work friends. We're all in our forties or fifties and we shared two twin rooms between us. Value for money was excellent (perhaps because we had booked six months previously). The hotel was charming with wonderful high ceilings and attractive decor. Both of the bedrooms overlooked... More

I booked this hotel for its location. It's in the middle of the city center and very ease to reach by metro from the airport. Rooms weren't really cheap, but ok. The room I got was small and had a small window looking at some air vents, not really nice. Bathroom was nice though. Breakfast was ok. The worst thing... More

Dear customer, thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear you endured some disturbing noise, although it was an isolated issue, let us inform you that due to several complaints from some of our guests, Front Desk got a hold of the teachers of these students to fix the problem. On the other hand we are pleased to... More

We Arrived and we had to park almost five blocks away after the receptionist gave us wrong directions (who by the way had a very bad attitude). The "free internet" didn't work the entire stay, and the only explanation offered was "mañana." The hallways also smelt like bad airplane food. And on top of all that, the beds are absolutely... This hotel is perfect as a central located hotel but lacks on the inside. It's says it's been recently renovated but cannot see where. The room are dark with very old looking furniture we had a very hard bed. Cold breakfast is OK but hot breakfast is terrible plus the maitre d was constantly in his mobile phone. One plus... More

Selected by the tour company and highly praised by our tour director - but a real disappointment overall. The yellow peeling wallpaper, the dated look, the tiny front desk area - very old. Has definitely seen better days and is in need of a major overhaul. Had to take the stairs to get to our rooms as the elevator does... More

This hotel evidently has seen better days since the fading condition of its rooms is obvious. It is difficult to have 2 people at the same time in the bathroom. The hotel is in the middle of a high traffic district and loading and unloading are difficult. The most outrageous of the statements made by the front desk staff Saturday... More
