Conveniently located in the center of Amalfi town, just a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Not much in terms of views from the room but the rooms are done up in a traditional fashion, which looks nice. Having said that, the room we stayed in was tiny with no space even for an extra cot if required. Staff... More

Reach Amalfi, and you're a real hero. But then you will understand, what the paradise is. Unbelievable seaside areas, the resort, that you can imagine and the smell of coffee and cookies in the morning. And Hotel Amalfi is good enough for exploring the Paradise. It's not the five star, but the coast will complete the stars. Don't worry about... More

Will second the comments form other reviewers about the ideal location of this hotel. In town but on a pedestrian side street. The rooms are welcoming and quiet. They have stunning floor tiles and are well appointed. The staff is very helpful. It serves a good continental breakfast with local fruits. It hits the spot. The dining room offers a... More

This was our first visit to the Hotel Amalfi but it definitely won't be our last. Paola and the hotel team were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they were more than accommodating with all our requests. The hotel itself is brilliantly situated within the old town of Amalfi literally meters away from all the hustle and bustle... More

We were pleased with our stay here, and will stay here for future visits to the Amalfi coast. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Although I know some Italian, Carmela is fluent in English, and the rest of the staff have passable or better command of English. (I did not get the same vibe as Philomena49 at all; sometimes those... More

This Hotel is owner operated and is very central, yet very quiet! It is situated 1 row back from the main street and is reached via a steep flight of stairs! (the Hotel advertises help getting bags up and down!) Staff was very helpful and efficient and key people could speak a good English. The complimentary in and outdoor roof-top... More

The location is extremely central - to both shops, restaurants, the beach and transport (the pier to catch ferries or the bus stop). Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast great and great views of the town centre and water. The staff could not have been more friendly and hospitable - we arrived at 10pm at night and they took care of... More

We had a problem and reception and owner were not nice. They did not realize one of us spoke Italian and we heard owner calk us f'ing Americans in Italian. Was worst hotel we stayed at during...
