Firstly the Villa Rosa is not a Hotel or B&B, it is ‘Rooms to let’. I felt that I was miss-sold it as a ‘Boutique Hotel’. The rooms are generally in good condition, vary in size, but are generally quite spacious, have small kitchen areas and many (all?) have balconies. The rate is pretty good, but don’t be fooled as... We stayed for three nights to see Sorrento and the sourroundings. The given map where B&B should be located was definitely wrong - it was right on the other side of town. Welcome: unpolite, no help at all, door was finally opened after some time though evening time of arrival was announced. Information: personally nothing (...though we do speak italian...)... More

Of the six places we stayed at during our three weeks in Italy in September, 2011, Villa Rosa was the worst; indeed, it was the only one that I would rate negatively. The host, Fabio, is most unwelcoming, uninformative and generally unhelpful. "Gruff", as I've seen him described in another review, doesn't begin to cover it. All the rooms have... More

Everything you hope for in a modest accommodation: immaculate, bright, great washroom, comfortable bed, oversized terrace, large, wi-fi, small refrigerator, air conditioning, secured parking, easy walking from train station (about 6 blocks) and action of town centre. We had room #5 on the second floor which had a queen-sized bed plus a double futon. There is a bar and restaurant... More

We spent three nights at Villa Rosa and it was perfect retreat from the hustle bustle of Sorrento. We booked two rooms on the first floor and they were a good size with spacious bathrooms. Each had a kitchenette so we could fix our own coffees and small meals. Also both rooms had terraces for lounging outside and drinking our... More

We were exteremely happy with our choice of Villa Rosa. The owner was very accommodating providing us with two very comfortable villas, as we only booked for one villa accommodating 3 people. Location excellent. Terriffic local restaurants, felt very relaxed here. Would reccommend Villa Rosa. Hope we can return one day. More

The Villa Rosa is charming and lovely. We had a great stay in Sorrento. Our room was quite large with a kitchen, double bed, clean bathroom with shower, and a terrace right off the garden. We were able to regulate our room temperature, which was quite nice since we stayed in mid-March and it was a little chilly at night.... More

We enjoyed our week at Villa Rosa very much. Our apartment was very clean, the facilities were good and spacious and our kitchenette was great to save money on a few meals. The caretaker was very helpful. The only slight negative was the street noise. We would stay here again, More

Villa Rosa is a great choice for Sorrento. Just 10 mns from the main drag and Station, the room was spacious, airy, super clean and really nicely kitted out. Super in every way... apart from the miserable, unhelpful and frankly rude owner (the old guy wearing the rather curious velour sweat pants and top at reception) who (and I jest... More
