We spent 3 nights in this hotel in Sorrent and had a good time. The view is very nice, you have a good bar and pool (though not heated, at least in May). Breakfast was good, too. Since the hotel is located outside Sorrent the shuttle service could be a little more frequent, especially at 10:30pm would be highly appreciated.

We have just stayed here for a week as part of a Riviera Holidays tour and used the hotel as a base to visit Pompeii; Vesuvius; Amalfi; Naples; Capri and, of course, Sorrento itself. There was a slight struggle getting to the hotel due to the trains AND buses from naples being cancelled and then the instructions to the shuttle bus being rather difficult to find. We stayed at the Grand Aminta for 3 nights from 6th May. On arrival we were informed that they had upgraded us free of charge to a seaview room - a really wonderful welcome to the hotel! The staff all provided an excellent and helpful service. Reception booked restaurants and tours for us and provided great recommendations for eating out.... More
