We statyed here 20th-24th June 2011 as we were visiting sorrento for a friends wedding. The hotel is basic to say the least- our room was on the 2nd floor and positioned on the back corner. This meant we had a slight view of some lemon trees but if you stepped onto the balcony the view to the left was... More

A comfortable hotel in a great location, the rooms were generous in size and had good views from the front balconies. It is an older hotel but as long as you accept that it's fine, the only thing we think could be improved upon is the breakfast - although it states continental there is no real selection. You only have... More

We spent three nights in this hotel. Hotel Is around 1,5 km from centre. Staff is friendly. Rooms are quite small, but with a furniture equal to prize. Bathroom was clean, water was warm, There was some mold at the corners. I think that for a 30€ for a person you won´t find a hotel at this area in the... More

We stayed in the two bedroom suite. Bedrooms were large as was the bathroom. The bathroom had a bathtub with a hand shower and no shower curtain; it was difficult to shower without getting water everywhere. One bedroom had a balcony and the other had a screened in porch; there was no furniture on either. Decor needs updated. The staff... More

We were in Sorrento for 3 nights and booked this place from a Italian site we got a good deal for the 3 nights but would rather spent another £100 and got someplace nice near town. The pics make this place look great but trust me its not. We were asked to leave our passport for the nightshift guy to... More

The hotel is located on the side of a hill facing the only street where cars and buses go up and down so if you have a room facing the street it is really noisy from morning to night. This hotel is far from town but you can catch a bus which stops and picks up passengers in front of... More

We were searching for a cheap place to sleep in Costiera Amalfitana and we found Britannia Hotel on Expedia so we booked it for one night. It doesn't deserves its three stars, but we know for sure that many other three star hotels in the zone are exactly like this : you have to pay for where you are, not... More

We booked a last minute holiday with Newmarket Travel, we arrived a Brittania late evening. First impression was ok. Till we went in the room, ugh. Horrible. No AC, all I can say is the sheets were clean. Hotel was dull with a lot of battle ship grey paint, no pool, breakfast was boring and the road outside was leathal.... More

The hotel is situated on a very busy main road with no pavements so it is unsafe for families with young children or elderly travellers with walking difficulties. The hotel has no swimming pool, air conditioning or even a nice terrace to relax and have a drink on. The decore is very drab and the "garden" is nothing more than... More

This was an awful hotel with no AC and towels that are as thick as bed sheets. The bed spread did not look like it had been washed in a month. The sheets were fairly clean, but everything else is very worn. If you request a kingsize bed they just push two twin beds together. The view is ok from... More
