Especially the treatment from the reception people.
Location of hotel - is perfect: near the old city, the port.

The reception staff was courteous and helpful. Location is excellent for seeing the sights in Naples, and is quite near to the Train Station, the Funicularie, the Metro and the bus.The rooms were comfortable and housekeeping was efficeint. Good breakfast. Good air conditioning in the room. The room has no window but only a exit to the balcony.

This was my second 3 week stay at the Oriente and until my wife's diamond rings disappeared from our room, the visit was wonderful. Very dissatisfied with the effort put forth to find the missing rings - felt as if the hotel was covering up not only the employee who might have picked them up, but also their reputation. Will...

The hotel is one of the older hotels in the downtown Naples area, a two minute walk to Via Toledo, the main downtown street with hundreds of clothing, jewelry stores and places to enjoy a quick snack, excellent pizza, pastries or a full meal. The rooms are very clean, the bed exceptionally comfortable, the breakfast buffet outstanding and the hotel...

Booked this hotel already feeling a little nervous, but decided to try it out ( this is my first time in Naples by the way). First impression on arrival : front desk staff was attentive, didn't speak very much English but were helpful . The bellman ( who was a bit sassy ) seemed shocked by the amount of luggage....

The hotel is well located on a quiet modern street just off Via Toledo and close to major attractions and shopping areas.
This said, it is quite difficult to find other positive aspects about this (apparently) 4 stars establishment. Service ranges from snotty and unwelcoming at the reception to friendly but inefficient in the restaurants. Rooms are possibly the worst...

They call themselves a 4-star hotel, but our experience at the charming 3-star Hotel Bellini far surpassed this. It was old, dingy and set in a part of town, albeit near the happening Via Toledo, which was not charming, with construction all around. When we were there between April 3-5, the entire air-conditioning system was down, so too the internet...

We were staying at the Oriente on a bed and breakfast basis as this was the most flexible option for our needs. Service is good and food quality very reasonable. Do try the local Neapolitan pastries, served at breakfast - very nice.
The room quality is fine and the facilities good. The staff are friendly and helpful - particularly with...

I spent one night at the Hotel Oriente when I was in Naples for work. It is a solid hotel, if largely unchanged from the 1960s! The location is superb, though. It is a five minute walk in one direction from the bay, with its fantastic views, and five minutes in the other direction from the old town, with its...
