We booked five months in advance but when we arrived the room was not available. They sent us to another b&b around the block for the first night and then they cleared the room.
If you go, be sure to book the double ensuite room as the others have the shared bathroom (which I do not recommend).

The double ensuite is very nice, with a huge bed and a huge TV. The bathroom is very small, but ok. There is a lot of street noise, so be prepared.
The facilities are clean, the breakfast offered is also nice, and the staff is really helpful. Leandro gave us excellent tips about places in Rome.

This hostel is a good base for exploring Rome. It is close to the metro and you can walk to the Coliseum. The staff were all very nice and breakfast was decent.
