I was on a Rick Steve walking tour of Trastevere and I came across this jewel of a restaurant. The decor is modest, and the food and service are great. If you like the Roman batter fired cod, try it here for a surprise; batter fired cheese and cod, delicious.

We recently visited this place for lunch. They have very authentic Italian food (read: less touristy). If you plan on visiting, try their Cacio e Pepe which I think is their specialty. It was extremely flavorful and different. Highly recommended!
