This hotel is, honestly, not that spectacular when you first arrive. But, the "extras" are what make it great. The staff is very friendly, extremely helpful in recommending things to do and make you feel very important when you arrive. The room offers a complimentary mini-bar, chocolates on your pillow, comfortable beds and soft towels (apparently quite difficult to find... More

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a fantastic way to start our first trip to Italy! The location was convenient to everything we wanted to see and close to the train station when we were leaving for Venice and Florence. We walked to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and other many other attractions as well as great restaurants... More

This is a lovely place to stay in Rome, not far from the train station and about 15 minutes from the Pantheon. We particularly liked the large breakfasts which included lots of fresh fruit and hot eggs as well as cereal and breads. The rooms are not large but are tastefully decorated and we even had an aquarium in our... More

This hotel offers an excellent lodging for the price. It is located near center of Rome, close to city terminal, and to subway, yet it is relatively quiet. The interior is cozy, breakfasts are very good with a large selection of various foods, our room for 3 was not large yet it was always perfectly clean with fully equipped modern... More

We were three couples from Norway staying at this hotel for five nights at the end of March. We got a very nice welcome by Simona, together with a welcome drink, a map of Rome and suggestions for where to go a and what to see. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Each morning a lovely breakfast - the best... More

A very good hotel with nice rooms. Shower was nice. Our room was not very small, I can not complain. The hotel in centrally located, however I would have liked to be a little closer to the Spanish Steps. Breakfast was included in our deal and was great. The drinks in the small fridge of the room were also included.... More

Sometimes when you are looking for a hotel to stay in, you sit and look at pages and pages of places on the Internet and sometimes, one just jumps off the page. Such was the case with the Hotel Britannia. Some of the reviews mention that the rooms are small and that is undeniably true, but they are extremely comfortable,... More

Dear kewinw1957, There is nothing we can write to add any information to more travellers who may read about Hotel Britannia in this page, you were comprehensive and so detailled that, the same as you, we couldn't ask for better. You know that we are a small, family run hotel in a large city, we try to make the difference... More
