My family had two rooms, and stayed last week. I am in a wheelchair, and Room 1 was big enough for me to get around. It is a small hotel, but I was able to get around fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only problem is the hotel is on a hill and busy cobble street. Be... More

The property itself is average and there is nothing remarkable about the room, which was clean and comfortable; the bathroom, which was clean and very small but location and the staff were outstanding. We stayed for three nights to attend the Rome Marathon and the staff was very helpful in maximizing our time and recommending the best sights and restaurants.... More

We stayed at the Nerva for three nights, in the annex just round the corner from the main hotel. The room (a triple) was small but had just enough space to stow our luggage, and overlooked a very quiet street, so no traffic noise. The bathroom was a nice surprise with a modern shower, spotlessly clean fixtures and attractive decor.... More

A warm and friendly family hotel, clean and comfortable and quiet, in a marvellous location. We recommend the breakfasts, while the bed was comfortable and the room clean. The staff were particularly helpful. Not luxurious or spacious but nonetheless a pleasure to stay there. More

We stayed 3 nights. The hotel is on a side road behind the Roman Forum. I will start with the negatives. 1. Very small bathroom Now the positives 1. Location. Close to most places for a steady walk 2. Staff. Really helpful. Gave useful information on places to stay and eat 3. Breakfast. Although a cold breakfast it was very... More

You walk out and you see the roman ruins, what more to say? The Colosseum is only a 5 min walk away. Hotel facilities are basic but sufficient. Bar downstairs is reasonably priced and coffee is good (don't think it's possible to find bad coffee in Italy though :) Def would come back for the price and location! More

My boyfriend and I recently spent a week in Rome. After looking at what seemed to be every hotel in the city, we stumbled upon Nerva - what a find! We got a great price (granted we were there in off-off-season), a decent sized room (with a comically small though not impossible shower), and super friendly, helpful staff. The location... More

Location Location Location, its the best, Well appointed ( and small) rooms central to a host of activities and good advice. Only drawback was - as we had a wheel chair in our party, having to go up the side street and more steps to access our room. Whilst the steps were achievable ushing the wheelchair up hills all days... More

I made a reservation in Hotel Nerva for my friends from the internet and they could not stop thanking me for choosing this place. "Great location and excellent service", they said. Therefore, I wanted to share their opinions. I definitely will consider visiting Rome and staying in Hotel Nerva in near future myself... More

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and fell in love with it. A small property located in an old fort type of building takes your imaginations back to history of Rome. Rooms are small but well furnished and have all descent amenities of a three star budget hotel. Restaurant is small and cosy and so is the reception. Location... More
