We stayed at this hotel for the three nights. We chose it because of the location near Termini because we arrived from Florence by train and used the train to get to the airport when we left Italy. The location met our prime requirements as it took only about ten minutes to walk to the train even dragging bags. There... More

Starhotel Metropole is a good hotel between the Termini station, the Opera and Piazza Repubbica. It's pretty big and busy, has lots of rooms to choose from. We stayed there for 10 days in January, and enjoyed our trip. I would not say that the hotel room met my expectations.... The rooms were not too big, and the furniture was... More

just returned from 3 nights at the hotel, my fiancee and i were on a sightseeing weekend. on arrival the reception staff were cold and unwelcoming, this is definatly a hotel for business use, there were a few conferences being held, and the bar area was closed off during the day to accomadate this. but saying that you would'nt spend... My wife and I stayed here in November 2011 for a long weekend. Overall it's an average hotel, nothing special but nothing offensive. The location is good, close to Termini, close to a bus stop for the hop-on hop-off buses and there were some good restaurants / coffee shops nearby. The customer service at the hotel was indifferent, the room... More

I has chosen this hotel cause of its positive reactions, but I found it kinda dissapointed for the money that I paid for it. The hotel is at a very good location 10 min from Termini station, where you can take trains that go every where in Italy. And lots of restaurants nearby by the hotel. I found the room... More

Stayed here weekend of the 3rd December 2011 to celebrate my birthday. The location is good near to The Termini so good transport links to all the sites. There are plenty of restauants and cafe bars around the hotel, we visited a few and they were all good although nothing outstanding. We stayed in a deluxe room which was a... More

Spent two weeks in Italy and our first stop was Rome and the StarsHotel Metropole. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and convenient to visiting all the historic sites. Rooms were very nice and clean. Morning meal, included in price, was a very positive experience as the food and service was very good. Nice bar area to... More

I am staying at this hotel as I write, using their 30 minute limited Internet service! Yes, you read that right! 30 minutes of use for free, if you want to use it for 24 hours it is 11 euros!!! Who in their right mind would charge customers for wifi in the 21st century. This hotel clearly thinks not everyone... More

This is the second Starhotel we have used (the other being Venice - excellent) and we were pleased with our choice. The Metropole is a 5 minuite walk from Termini (heed the warnings about the people you may encounter here and on the metro. a young woman, part of a group of 3, with a baby tried to pick my... More

This hotel is very close to the termini train station. The gym is tiny and there is not enough air being vented through. I thought I was going to faint. The breakfast was loverly and the rooms were clean. Internet is a rip off, paid for it and does not even work, the desk staff said this was our problem... More
