A truly wonderful intimate hotel with old world professional staff, excellent position to the Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, walking distance to Spanish steps and very helpful staff. Hotel pick up ( pre organised with booking)with a fair price which was great after a long flight and the driver pointed out the sights of old Rome as we passed slowing... More

Those who have stayed at Albergo Cesari, as my wife and I did for 6 nights in mid-May, will understand the title of my review. To some, 'Tomasso' may simply be one of the receptionists at the front desk. For those who take the time to know him, Tomasso is a throwback to the time when hoteliers were professionals; serving... This was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed at, but worth it. It is between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, only about a 5-minute walk either way. The room has a lot of character - I loved that we could open our shutters to the street below (no screen). It was quite noisy in the evenings, so if... More

I originally booked this hotel for my daughter and the man she didnt know was going to ask her to marry him two years ago...I wanted her centrally located so she can enjoy the Trevi fountain, pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps( where she was engaged on that trip to her now husband). She has been abroad a few times and... More

This little hotel has location, location, location! It is less than 5-10 minutes walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, & Tempolo Adriano. It is about 15-20 minutes from the Coliseum, the Forum, and Vittoria Emanuele II, around 25-30 minutes from Piazza del Popolo, and a half hour from the Vatican. Seconds away from the main... More

The hotel is on a loud street and the staff is not considerate of the guests in the morning. Either that or we were just next to a loud utility closet that was often in use, especially very early. Anyway, it's a very good location and the rooftop bar is nice. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I know... More

There were 18 of us traveling together and this hotel was perfect. The rooms were small but adequate and decorated just fine. The room was very clean with clean sheets both days that we were there. Thomas at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we got to our destinations each day. The roof terrace was... More

This was my first trip to Rome, after 6 weeks of research I finally decided on this hotel. After arriving I was very happy I choose it. The staff was really nice and very helpful. We never ate breakfast there but the one evening we went to the rooftop terrace the waiter fix us sandwiches, even though the kitchen was... More

This was my 3rd trip to Rome over a 30 year period, but the first time I stayed here. I visited for 14 days on this occasion and was more than satisfied with all aspects of my stay in this lovely hotel. Each morning my breakfast cappuccino was delicious, along with the many other tasty offerings. The staff at the... More

This hotel's location could not be better. The staff are also extremely nice and helpful, especially the man who worked at the bar on the terrace in the evenings. The terrace is absolutely amazing, perfect place to begin the day with breakfast and cappucino and even better place to enjoy drinks in the evening! I would definitely recommend. The room... More
