We stayed at the Hotel Kennedy for 4 nights recently. I have to be honest and say that the internet pictures do not reflect the reality of the hotel. There is no bar, the breakfast room is very bland and quite cramped. However, the rooms were clean and tidy, but the carpet on the main staircase is older than my... More

Dear Mr/Mrs LinziM, thank you for your review concerning our hotel. We are happy that You enjoyed the location of our hotel, the cleaning of the rooms and that You define us " average". We'll take more care about the moquette located on the ground floor, as You suggested . We are a good three stars hotel with a very... More

I am a travel agent and have traveled quite extensively. We booked this hotel for two nights at the end of our eauropean vacation. We were met by one of the rudest desk clerks I have ever experienced. He made us feel like he was not interested in Americans in the least. Simple questions were met with a bark, like... More

Dear Mr Kelbel 68, Thank you for your review. This hotel was named "Kennedy" in 1969 to honour the American president John F.Kennedy, as he was an extraordinary man. We are American friendly since a very long time also for this reason and our hotel is very popular in Usa. If you truly are a travel agent probably You already... More

This was our first time in Rome and we wanted a budget hotel near the centre. At around £70 a night I wasn’t expecting too much, but the Kennedy delivered generously on nearly all the criteria. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the termini. There are plenty of restaurants and facilities nearby. The staff were friendly, coherent,... More

Dear Mr/ Mrs Mazzy 286, thank you for sharing your review. Five nights in Rome is perfect to see the main attractions and to really "experience" the hotel in full. We are staying at the Kennedy Hotel for 4 nights and it is completely not what we expected from the photos. The room smelt of cigarettes even though it is non-smoking, is very cold and the wifi does not work in the room as advertised. We asked for the heater to be turned on although apparently all heaters are switched... More

We booked 4 nights at the Hotel Kennedy for the first leg of our Europe honeymoon. This was based on a recommendation of our travel agent due to it's central location. Very helpful staff, clean hotel with a good continental breakfast. We enjoyed our short stay. But the restaurant directly opposite the hotel on the other side of the street was very disappointing, noisy with lots of students on school trips. there are so many good restaurants in Rome, go further afield to find one. Poisitive - distance to Termini. Negative - sadly everything else. The room was very musty. The heater leaked, but fortunately they had a small icecream container underneath collecting most of the water run off. Unfortunately not enough and my infant son slipped over and smacked his head on the tiled floor. Breakfast - can I suggest you eat out (elsewhere).... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in January 2012. I really want to rate this hotel higher because the staff were very friendly and accomodating, but the rooms left much to be desired.
