The hotel has nice facilities however some reception staff were rude and unhelpful. We twice advised reception that our mini bar wasn't fully stocked. We were told not to worry as we wouldn't be expected to pay anything unless we had used it. Upon checking out we were asked to pay for drinks we had not taken and had to... More

Galileo is a 10 min walk from Termini station and 5 min from Castro Pretorio metro. Reception is bright and staff pleasant. We had Room 304, it was a good size, king sized bed, hanging space, tv, safe and a beautifully tiled shower room. Everything was spotless. The small balcony overlooked rooftops. Breakfast was a good selection of cereals, bread... More

On arriving in Rome by train, Hotel Galileo is very easy to find using their excellent website directions. We walked to the hotel from the station in less than ten minutes. Our room on the second floor was very clean with plenty of space and appeared to be recently redecorated. The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood was quiet. The... More

Hotel Galieo is about a 15 minute walk with luggage from the main train station in Rome, but is about 20 metres back from the street down a long driveway so it is a little confusing to find at first. The room was clean, heating was good and bed was fine ... the positives ended there for us unfortunately. The... More

Three of us stayed at Hotel Galileo for three nights starting Boxing Day this year. The location is brilliant. Like other reviews have said, just a short walk from Termini station and we even found we were able to walk to all major sites such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain etc too. The only time we needed to get transport... More

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days it's located near Castro Petrorio Station or 5-10 mins walk to Termini and 10-15 mins walk to Republika. The hotel was clean and neat and the breakfast is good. There's also a Pinoy restaurant closeby "Pinoy Fast Food" where we used to eat for dinner. Location is perfectly safe since on the... More

My brother and I stayed in this hotel a couple of weeks back at the end of a 2 week trip in Italy. Good location 10 min walk to the Termini station & only a few to a local metro. Easy to get to all the sites in Rome. Great sized twin room at the end of a corridor. Have... More

The partition between the rooms is not a concrete structure. One can even listen to people snore in the night with no privacy to talk normal. The rooms are dark and lack in ventilation and air. The hotel has obligatory hidden tax before depart. The reception staff lacks in manners. I would strongly not recommend this hotel. More

Dear Sir, We are sorry that you did not feel comfortable in our hotel, but please allows us to point out the following situations: - The room assigned to you is exposed to the south and has a terrace, so it is extremely bright; - The city tax has been communicated at your arrival at the hotel and we confirm... Nice sized twin room, great central location, easy to get around, close to the train station. Buffet breakfast to start the day and fantastic staff ready with a map, directions and information to make your stay in Rome as stress free as possible. Would stay here again. More
