This 5-star hotel lives up to its name in the wonderful city of Rome. Yes, it is a bit old but well maintained and an absolute delight to stay in with its high ceilings, large bathrooms and living area. Hotels in Europe cannot compare with the newer modern hotels in Asia and Dubai with all their fancy accessories but do... More

Rome was our final stop after a short tour of Italy - and we were SO happy to end our trip at such a beautiful hotel. We stayed on the 5th floor which we were told was recently renovated, and it was beautiful. Well decorated, extremely clean, and great features such as being able to turn off the lights in... More

Booked this hotel through last minute.com secret hotel. On arrival pleasant reception by staff, but when shown to our room no view only a interior wall. We asked for a better view and was told we were only entitled to a basic room due to booking with last minute.com. There were only one pair of courtesy slippers, no dressing gowns... More

Via Veneto (area and street) was the setting for a movie in the 60's about the wealthy in Rome. From this, the saying, "living the good life" was coined. The numerous restaurants and shops as well as easy access to the Metro and walking distance to the Spanish Steps, The Trevi Fountain, and other "must sees" make this hotel a... More

Very large and clean room. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great, and the staff very helpful . Our first time in Italy, and we would for sure stay there again. Every thing very walkable because you DON'T want to drive in Rome.

The Ambasciatori Palace Hotel in Via V. Veneto has a great location in the heart of Rome, is welcoming, staff is friendly and courteous, rooms are big and comfortable for European standards and have all the amenities us americans are accustomed to. The concierge is very helpful with directions to main attractions. Hotel staff speaks fluent English and rooms are... More

Stayed in this hotel for business. The room was beautiful. Tall ceiling, hardwood floors, standard bathroom with nice fixtures. The only thing I had a problem with is the hard bed and pillows. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to Trevi fountain and close to public transportation. There are several lovely restaurants near the hotel as well. I would... More

We loved this historic old-world hotel. Great location on the famous Via Veneto, close to buses and the Barberini metro stop, walking distance for the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Quirinale, Borghese Gardens, etc. Rooms furnished in Age of Elegance style with out of this world bathrooms. Excellent concierge services and a first rate breakfast. Ask for a room at the... More
