This is THE hotel in Rome if you want to get the best out of a vacation/tour of this historical City. Here's why I really recommend the Rivoli...Rome is a very busy, crowded and loud City. All of the highlights are concentrated within walking distance from one another. At the end of a long day's sight-seeing - the Rivoli Hotel... More

This hotel was fine. The staff quickly replaced a bad lightbulb in our room, promptly provided ice when needed, and answered our questions in a professional and helpful manner. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and my pillow was really comfy. The common area on our floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, but the room itself was free of odors. As... More

Hotels in Rome are renowned for having tiny rooms, uppity staff and a hot water situation that gives the impression that one small travel kettle if powering the whole thing. None of these issues affected the Hotel Best Western Rivoli. The location was lacking, in that it was a long way from anywhere, but taxis are fairlly cheap so this... More

The hotel is very old and dated. The location is far away from the subway, restaurant, and any attraction. We had to take a bus or taxi just to get to the subway. More

My wife and I stayed here for a week in mid-May. We attended a large wedding in Rome, and our friends stayed in 3,4, and 5 star hotels all over the city. Although other places were recommended, I chose the Rivoli due it's location in Parioli, and my good experiences staying in Best Western affiliated hotels in Europe. Also, as... More

I stayed at this hotel for the Easter holiday in April and highly enjoyed. The hotel is located in a very nice residential area with embassies and beautiful Italian architecture. Nice room, large bathroom, a bit poor breakfast, but ok. The room has a balcony which proved to be a nice place to rest and have a drink in the... More

I chose this hotel cause I've stayed near Termini before and the area was just so filthy and crime-ridden that I couldn't stand to be near it. For $150 a night at the Rivoli, we got a room that was HUGE for modern Roman standards with a great outdoor seating area overlooking the city. The bathroom was enormous and filled... More

My husband and I just returned from a 10 day stay at Hotel Rivoli. Although it is out of the hustle and bustle of Rome it is a nice place to relax in the evening. Rome is a very noisy city. It was nice to come to a quiet place in the evening. The hotel staff was awesome, especially Monia... More

Although a little out of the way from the centre of Rome, the Best Western Hotel Rivoli provides more than adequate accommodation. My room had a large double bed and spare bed, was tastefully furnished and comfortable. The mini bar (which I generally never use) prices were reasonable but a late night arrival, dying of thirst, left me no alternative!... More

My husband, son and I stayed at this hotel from the 19th through the 23rd of September, 2010. I had checked out many hotels online and found that this hotel, in particular, had the most value for the money. There were things that were not to our liking such as the hot water problem. We tried in the early mornng,... More
