I stayed at the Hotel Lirico for 3 nights the second week of May, and I LOVED this hotel! It's very clean and furnished with old world Europe charm. It is very close to the main train station in Rome, as well as being centrally located. They had a wonderful continental breakfast with the BEST COFFEE than in any other... More

This has to be the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. First you have to climb very steep stairs with your luggage to even get into the hotel. Then, you have to step down to get in the room, step up to go to the bathroom. The room was very dark and like a dungeon. The room has no dressers,... More

We had a wonderful stay in September 2011. The staff, and Tony at the front desk are very informative and welcoming. Although, the rooms are small, understanding also this is Rome, our room was very comfortable, cozy and quiet. The breakfast room has much to offer, and open to cater to us before its operation hours, since we needed to... More

Stayed at the Lirico hotel for 4 nights. Nice hotel and good location. Very close to the metro station. When you get there, you'll see a huge flight of stairs but it wasn't an issue for us. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had air conditioner so heating wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good: cakes,... More

Super little hotel with warm freindly staff. Happy to tell you about trams, trains and buses. Good room, very quiet rooms, can't hear anyone moving or banging doors etc, which is important to us. Breakfasts reasonable, and well presented. Very clean . Would stay here again. Walking distance from all major events, if you are a keen walker. More
