The hotel seems to be okay but the service when something goes wrong is totally useless. Some people have totally misunderstood how to deal with dissatisfied customers. I have lived in several century hotel in Rom and this was one of the worst experiences. It did not make things better that it is very sensitive from the street and problems... More

It was a pleasure to spend 3 nights at this hotel. The service was exceptional, the rooms very comfortable, clean. The staff are quick and helpful. My only issue was the wifi service. Most hotels its a quick and painless process to get the password and you're connected. Hotel Mascagni only give you an hour access at a time, and... More

This is a very good clean hotel with good complete breakfasts everyday. Very helpful staff all speaking English. Location is great -- central to most areas of interest, shopping and restaurants. Right across the street from the St. Regis Le Grand Hotel. Only reason it didn't get a 5 star is that some rooms lack a shower and the internet... More

A rather small hotel with one tiny elevator, that only can fit 4 people or 4 luggages. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are like the hotel, not much space. The beds are great and very comfortable. The area around the hotel is not that busy so it's pretty quite at night. Even though they are a tiny hotel,... More

I stayed with them two times. 1.on Christmas with friends 2. In spring with mom. We had And superior room with bslcony, and standard. All wonderful, cozy rooms. Very clean! They have MAGICAL staff! Really good breakfast! Most important-is hot! A lot of baking, meats, cheeses, fruits, different cereals, coffe, tee. Good location. In the same building ( not in hotel)... More

Great location close to the main train station and the metro. Very friendly, knowledgeable and overall great staff. We really appreciated the inside tips on where to eat out like the locals do too. Our room was clean, classically decorated and had a charming view over a small courtyard. The breakfast was very good too for Italy and the lift... More

Hotel Mascagni was exceptional in every way, The building, the staff, the amenties and the location could not have been better. Almost every noteworthy tourist attraction was within walking (leisurely) distance. Our room was very well appointed at the back of the hotel and with a balcony. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy! The dining room staff were... More

Location: Excellent, it is literally a 10 minute walk (with luggage) from the train station. The metro is 2 minutes away (we used that to get to the Vatican and walked from there via various sights back to the hotel). The rest of the sights including the Colossum were all in walking distance. Room: Excellent, we booked a twin and... More

Booked this hotel through my travel agent who gave me three choices and after considering reviews on TA as well as other factors we went with the Mascagni. First trip to Rome so had no idea on the area or anything else and we were pleasently surprised on many fronts. First, the hotel itself was very nice. extremely well kept,... More
