Me and my boyfriend were booked in for 4 nights here at the Hotel Mascagni. The hotel was booked through Travel Republic and was sorted however there seemed a slight miscommunication somewhere. We went to check into the hotel of our 1st day and were told unfortunately there had been a mix up in our booking between Travel Republic, the... More

This was my second trip to Rome after a 30 years gap and I chose this hotel on it's location and the Tripadvisor recommendations. So glad I did. From the moment we stepped through the door it felt right. The staff really make it as they all go the extra mile to make your stay as happy as possible. Frank,... More

Nice rooms although somewhat small to be a triple. Main problem was that wi-fi was doled out in 1-2 hr intervals. Had to constantly ask for new password. Very inconvenient. Breakfast good. Street rather noisy at night but would probably stay again. More

I need the internet. The internet service here was terrible. I can't stay in a hotel without access to the internet. This ruined a stay which would otherwise have been reasonable. Before I keep ranting on about the internet - the room was very nice. We were upgraded on check in to a 'superior' room which had a larger area... More

We selected this hotel based on the location (our friends were staying across the street at the St. Regis) and the price. We couldn't have been more delighted by the experience. The hotel staff was professional, warm, helpful and always accomodating. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable, if a bit small. But as in most major cities, hotel... More

We spent much of the week commenting on how happy we were with this hotel. Newly redone from top to bottom, the hotel is exceptionally clean and welcoming. The staff was very helpful -- especially the breakfast waitstaff who went out of their way each morning to make each meal special for our children (thank you Marco). The location is... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights on a part business (me), part pleasure (my wife) basis. We had a lovely 2nd floor superior room with a balcony overlooking the main road (so do expect some noise). It was exceptionally clean and well appointed as was the bathroom (the bath was a little small but no real problem).... More

This has to be one of the best hotels i have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Everything about our stay was spot on from the location to the room the staff in particular were most helpful from giving directions to booking restaurants and just being very welcoming. More

Super hotel, we booked a superior room which was lovely, very clean and well maintained. If you are considering booking this hotel, mail them beforehand and ask for a balcony room, as there are few of them but it makes all the difference. The room keeping was superb and unobtrusive, and everyone of the desk and the waiting staff very... More

My husband and I went to Rome to celebrate a special birthday. Our estate agent found this great little hotel as he knows we like small, friendly hotels in a good location. The Mascagni fills the bill exactly. The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful, recommending cafes and restaurants, booking for us if necessary and getting... More
