it is located in Porta Portese, a nice real roman area. On Sundays there is a nice market in viale trastevere, afterwords Isola Tiberina is at walking distance: it really woth vising it (the famous restaurant Sora Lella is there). The staff is always very nice, rooms are clean and spatious (they have 4bed-rooms) ,they have kitchen facilities; their choice... More

We were staying in ripa hotel for 4 nights. The hotels in Rome is different then in other places in the world, they all charge alot of money for simple rooms. When you get that you know not to expect something very big and fancy. Ripa hotel is located in trastevere area, which I love. The restaurant, bars, bus and... More

Dear Limdo thank you for your very nice comments about the ripa! Iam trying to work on a solution to offer free WiFi connection but it is taking more time than expected. Hopefully we can come to a solution before summer starts. thank you for taking time to review the Ripa Kind regards Arianna Roscioli More

This hotel could be very good. Its location at first glance appears inconvenient, tucked away in a residential area of Trastevere. In fact its only a short walk to the restaurant/bar area of the suburb and there is a tram which takes you into the central area easily. The staff on reception were most helpful (unusual for a capital city).... More

Couldn't fault the Ripa. All the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful - they couldn't do enough for you - this included everyone, not just the Reception staff (maybe this is because we also were always friendly and polite) We were upgraded, at no extra charge, to an 'Executive Room', perhaps because we stayed for 10 nights. They even let... More

Great location, particularly to get to trastevere where all the bars and restuarants are. Room very stylish, but lost some functionality because it was quite bare. More storage space and dressing table mirror needed. Great breakfast, good value and overall very pleased with the value and would stay again. More

Well, there were a smorgasbord of experiences at reception, from friendly Uncle/Aunt to vile young uptight nylon trouser wearing sweaty knackers. Also at breakfast. I do not really appreciate being told where to sit. The huffing and puffing. 'But there are so many more places to sit'. No. I am a guest and I'll sit wherever I want. So we... More

I don't know if I got upgraded or what, but we loved our room. We got a HUGE room with a little balcony. I thought the overall theme of the hotel was fun and different. No, it was not perfect, no hotel will ever be perfect for one person, but I found the price quality relationship to be quite fair.... More

Very good location near to tram/bus stop. Some excellent bars and restaurants in the local area. Hotel = very quiet, very good breakfast. The room was very spacious and clean. I think it was probably awaiting redecoration with the new Ripa concept as it looked like a former self catering apartment. More

Ripa hotel is an honest hotel with a resaonbale price (booked through booking.com). The location is really as Tasvetere is a nice area with a lot of restaurnat, trattoria and bar. You can also be in the city center in 15mn walk and there bus stop and tramway all along the road. Common area are clean and modern but the... More
