Comfortable, ornate rooms but small. ground floor rooms have small patio with shaded place to relax. Bathrooms are well equipped. Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for sight seeing and Excellently positioned for shopping where the locals do for clothing, leather goods and accessories without the higher rates found on the main tourist streets.... So I asked Trip Advisor to delete my prior review b/c I felt like I was being a bit too harsh. As I mentioned before, my husband and I were completely dissatisfied with our room upon arrival. I'm not one to ask for a room change, but in this instance I had to. The woman at the front desk was... More

The location is elegant and very quiet, a non commercial neighbourhood. Ad advantage: just cross the river, which is near, and you will land in the very active Piazza del Popolo area. So the location has all the advantages. The metro station is near, and some good buses pass in one of the adjacent important roads. The building is elegant... More

Our lodging was booked by our bicycle tour group for our final night's stay in Italy. This place will NOT disappoint you. It's in a quiet, safe and clean area and within walking distance to most of what you'll want to visit in Rome. You will love the immaculate marble entry, sitting areas with antique furnishings and accessories, intimate little... More

My husband, daughter and myself stayed at the Hotel Giulio Cesare this past Easter 2013 weekend. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The service at the front desk was very accomodating and nice. Spoke very good English. The bartender Emanuel was a favorite for my husband, very nice and friendly and gave use good recommendations for dinner. It is... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel April 2013 and had a very pleasant experience. It's about 400 meters from the metro but we walked to the Vatican from here, the Spanish steps, the Borghese Gardens, Piazza Novana - all over Rome actually. The Room was very nice and clean - the bathroom splendid (I took a lovely bath... More

This is one hotel that really makes one's stay so very pleasant that you won't want to check out. The room is very cosy, and the service of the front office good. Most impressive was the breakfast. All the fruits and honey are produce of the owner who takes pride in sharing. The taste of the food is great, like... More

I had a last-minute trip to Rome and booked into this hotel when I arrived at in the early afternoon. The prices at the front desk were less expensive than online, though you run the risk of it being full. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs and sausage in addition to fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread,... More
