Unless Italy has a different star rating, this is a 2 star, not 4 star hotel. It is very close to the Termini station. Room decor is worn and dated, mattress is hard as a rock, air conditioning non-existent and with the windows open rather noisy. On the plus side it does include breakfast, and very clean. My email inquiry...

Just returned from a ten day stay at the Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio. We had a great room. Although a little noisy with the windows open, it was very quiet with the shutters closed. The hotel was close to Termini, the Green Line Tours and we could walk to S Maria Maggiore. It was extremely easy to catch the Leonardo Line...

Accommodation here was very good especially if you can get one of the larger rooms that face the courtyard where the street noise is none existent. On a negative note, their front desk seems to be very disorganised and dismissive. If you are wanting to book an airport shuttle with the front desk be doubly sure they have it and...

The room overlooking a courtyard and the full bath were comfortable. Since this was not our first trip to Rome, we were interested in other than the usual sites, and the hotel was well located. It was also easy for cab drivers to find the hotel when referenced by Termini.
Breakfast buffet was a bit crowded and the food "ok"...

We stayed here in September '11 and we were not dissapointed all things considered. The reason I say that is because we are 4-star travellers but the hotel shows more like a 3 star +. The location was excellent if you want to avoid costly taxis; 10 minute walk from Roma Termini station. 30-45 minute power walk to Trevi Fountain....

The staff was wonderful, however the rooms need updating. There was construction on our floor so they maybe in the process of doing just that! It was very convenient location and steps from the train station. We walked everywhere and never took a taxi! I really loved Rome and this hotel is fine if you are just sleeping there. The...

We stayed here in July 2011 and were really pleased with our room - a superior double. It was huge with a view of a quiet courtyard, so you never knew that you were only a block from the Central station. Really well connected for sightseeing, and several restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. The breakfast buffet was extensive,...

One of the dozens of hotels on Via Cavour, near train station and Colisseum. Nice enough for a couple night's stay. Clean and comfortable rooms (wooden floors pretty but slippery). Excellent breakfast buffet, good restaurant for one night's dinner. Helpful front desk. I would rate it a nice 3-star instead of the proffered 4-star . . . but it was...

We booked the hotel throught Priceline (give your own price). We were worried about location. As we arrived by train from Firenze and our next destination would be Fiumicino Airport, the good point it is very close to Rome Termini (train station and subway). But it is not so close to the main sights of Rome. The room is good,...
