I used trip advisor for all my hotel research before booking a two week trip to Italy in Sept/2011 and now having stayed at most of the hotels I have to say I'm boggled by the reviews and rankings. I didn't actually review this hotel, or book it - I booked Hotel Saturnia instead, which overall is ranked a lot... More

There seem to be only 4 staff at any given time and the appear overworked. Our air con didn't work for days despite reporting it a couple of times. Rooms small but adequate, bathrooms remodelled and clean in our double room. Our daughter's single room was tiny. The building itself is gracious, old and historical but that does not make... More

If there is one thing about this sight. it is that there are so many different reviews. I am glad that I didn't read them before I stayed here because I would have been very wary of this place. I can only tell you my feelings and as the title says they were mixed. To begin with, I was with... More

I would like to raise up a very serious complaint in this hotel. We arrive on day early in Rome on 30Jul, we request a triple room 1 day earlier. Manger said it is full house of triple room, then we said no problem for the double room, But the manager only said "not possible" . You have to reserve... More

Room Service was incredible. They were attentive and quick with my orders. The location is great for families due to the nice cafes and restaurants that are so nearby. My family and I also enjoyed sightseeing and walking to the Colosseum right from this hotel. We stayed for a week and saw most of Rome from just walking and wandering... More

Beautiful hotel. Small, cute in great location. We checked into the hotel and Marco helped us put our bags in storage until check-in. When we returned, we checked in with David. He was extremely nice and spoke 5 languages and had lived in Rome for 30 years. Impressive. When we checked into our room, we were pleasantly surprised that is... More

The hotel is well positioned being 10 minutes walk from Rome terminal , metro and bus stops. Also well within walking distance of Forum etc. The rooms are comfortable and adequately furnished . The staff we came in contact with were helpful and courteous An ideal hotel for a short stay. At breakfast if you dont like the coffee on... More

One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. We litterally got there late at night just because we couldn't find anywhere else to stay. Got charged an absolute fortune because were given a room with 4 beds which was the only one left. It was disgustingly dirty, we couldn't operate the air con as they decide it's temperature. The... I got charged for a night I didn't stay because I booked online, because there was an error with the date. So I turned up thinking I had a reservation, and instead they had already charged me for the day before. Instead of accepting that there had been an error they refused to be reasonable and still charged my credit... More

I stayed for one night at this hotel, my last night in Rome. I paid $156 for a single room. The room was tiny, the smallest I stayed in while in Italy, but it was clean. The shower head was bad, but the bathroom was clean and spacious. The breakfast was about average, but the breakfast staff was rude, which... More
