We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were very large and generally clean. The decor wasn't especially new but not too bad. Most of the rooms had a balcony but nothing special (most views were of neighboring apartments). I believe the TV was available if you paid extra. We stayed with a group and some rooms had air conditioning... More

We were pleasantly surprised!! We had already booked this hotel before we read the previous trip advisor reviews. So we were not expecting the hotel to be up to much. But, the rooms were tidy and were cleaned with fresh towels everyday. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was continental and adequate. Unfortunately, the... More

A good budget hotel if you don't mind using public transport. Good: low price, nice rooms, quiet location with a nice view Bad: in the middle of nowhere, often crowded with school and tourist groups, decent bus service crawls into town at rush hour More

We stayed for a week in Hotel Blanc et Noir. We travelled to Rome by car and we searched 2,5 hours to find the hotel!! It is really hard to find and not quite what you expect to see. We drove along the hotel twice and the third time we realised the hotel was behind a big fence. When we... More

My partner and I travelled to Rome for a short break recently. After searching the web for good deals, we stumbled across the Blanc Et Noir Hotel in Rome. Once booked, I then stumbled across the reviews on expedia, and have to admit to being alarmed, however as the hotel was now paid for and non-refunable we thought it best... More

We have just returned from our trip to Rome and we found this hotel extremely unnerving. It spoilt our trip as apart from it we loved our visit. Most of the locals were ok. We nearly decided to cut our holiday short and come back early as we were so distressed at one stage. There were damp patches on the... More

So I spoke to someone who organised the trip and she told me everything was ok. So still sceptical we went... Now I'm a back home and first thing I have... More

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed in in myentire life. The staff was so rude. This gentleman at the front desk in particular was inexplicably rude and childish. First of all, the hotel is NOT close to rome. You need to take the metro the nearly the last station on the line and then take the bus... More
