The room was clean, bathroom great with a rain shower. Our room was quiet and the free wireless was great. My husband enjoyed the outside private patio. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. Unlike another reviewer, I was accommodated with additional pillows upon request. The hotel is quite a walk from major attractions but it is close to... More

We only had two nights to spend in Rome and we were lucky to find Hotel Romae for our stay. It is not the hotel that is closest to the main attractions of Rome. It is an easy 30 minutes long down-hill walk to Colosseum and 20 minute walk to the Trevi fountain. However, we preferred to stay in this... More

We stayed at the hotel romae for two nights in early may. We booked the hotel based upon the reviews we read on trip advisor. Our experience did not match the reviews we read about the hotel. We tried to checkin at 12pm but the room wasn't ready. Not a big problem but a little surprising. Reception were helpful and... More

Dear guests, I apologize for the receptionist who did not organize 2 extra pillows for you. Thank you for letting me know, I assure you that this situation will not happen again. The check-in at Hotel Romae is at 1pm and we have a luggage deposit for anybody who wants to leave the luggage at the Hotel before the check-in... More

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our stay in Rome. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the train station and a wonderful restaurant. The reason I can not give this hotel 5 stars is because of the restaurants across the street from the hotel.... More

Dear guest, thank you very much for your review and ratings, it's a shame you couldn't give us 5 stars, but being near the main train station it is a very touristic area so there a lot of hostels, hotels and restaurants and unfortunately people coming and going at all hours. Thanks again, we hope you enjoyed the rest of... More

Hotel Romae is very easily found on foot from main Termini station. Very warm welcome with lots of useful advice and information. Room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a decent shower!! Complimentary fresh fruit on arrival was a lovely surprise which was certainly enjoyed over the few days. Yellow bar across the road really handy as was... More

Our family stayed here on our last night in Italy. We chose it based on it's proximity to the train station as we were arriving from Florence by train and leaving for the airport early the next morning. It is an easy 10 minute walk from Termini in a safe neighborhood. The hotel room was clean with bunk beds for... More

Dear guest, thank you very much for taking the time to post your comments and review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your meal at the trattoria Mamma Angela's. The Yellow bar opens at 07:30 every day for the breakfast so its a shame you didn't get the chance to try one of their fry-ups. We also would have been... More

Dear guest, we are just a small 3 star hotel in the centre of Rome, but we are very proud of our groovy collection of paintings by Alison Ryde an artist from New Zealand. You find her paintings in the public areas and in all of our rooms, in her collection she gives you a modern and colourful view of... More

What a find. A boutique hotel, modern, deco-appointed, clean, and even somewhat spacious a few blocks from the train station. I got a great rate, so if you get one, too, this is a no brainer. Also, being near the train station isn't what it sounds like because the Rome train stations is in a good neighborhood. Romae is on... More

Hotel Romae is a few blocks away from Rome's central station, in a safe, clean neighborhood, in a block with hotels and restaurants which during April 2012 catered to many American college students. I stayed here at the beginning and end of my trip, providing the chance to sample two different rooms. The first room was on the third floor... More

Dear guest, thank you for your positive review about Hotel Romae. I would like to take a moment to explain a few of your comments. I stayed in November with a friend and would recommend to anyone wanting a very clean convenient place to stay in Rome. Its out of the hustle and bustle off the main street and provides a safe and secure place to stay. I became unwell while staying and required a doctor, the staff were extremely helpful and kind.
