- Hotel Trastevere Rome

This place is in a great area but it leaves a lot to be desired. The room was poky and the amenities were old and in a state of disrepair. Our shower door was falling off. We didn't expect much for this price but we just got the feeling that the management didn't have much pride in their hotel.

Rooms are small, but overall satisfied for the price. The hotel is located in a good area with plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

This hotel is in a great location although it took me a while to find it when I got off the tram. My room did not look like any of the pictures. It was a single room and incredibly small. It was cleaned everyday but they had strange towels that were more like table cloths. It was fine for me...

* Good location in Trastevere. Walking distance to most part of central area.
* Italian breakfast with juice, tea, apples, croissants, jam, some bread, and good italian coffe on request.
* The room was cleaned and the bed was made every day.
* Some problems during check out and payment. Caused a 20 minutes delay.

I stayed at this hotel 7 years ago, and also 10 years ago where I was given beautiful rooms and star treatment.
Not so this time! Apparently, there's new management who only has ownership of the first floor. What this means is tiny poky old dirty rooms smack bang on top of the square - not that gentle view that...

Dear Madam, we usually do not contest the negative feedback of our guests., but in this case I think that don’t fit to the reality.

Perfect location! Close to everything. Very reasonable. wifi worked. Front desk staff Marco was helpful with everything. He is a huge asset to the hotel. He even printed our boarding passes for us. Breakfast was continental. I would suggest asking for the main building if you would like a quiet room. We were very happy with our room. We were...

After checking into a hotel well past it's prime, we gently informed the desk that our room was extremely noisy at night because of the stalls outside of our window that held the goods for the daily market. The air conditioning did not work well so we had to open the window. The people at the reception desk stated that...

The Trastevere neighborhood is as the guidebooks say "Roma's Greenwich Village". There is a real sense of integrating into the 'hood. The hotel is clean, a helpful staff with tips for navigating the city on foot or by bus. The rooms are clean and basic, with comfortable beds. Spend your travel money on the great trattorias that saturate the neighborhood!...

The hotel is ideally located in the Trastevere area of Rome, which has a village-like feel and has lots of fantastic restaurants (particularly recommend Da Vittorio which is just around the corner). It is within easy walking distance to the main centre of Rome however will need a short bus ride to the Vatican.
The room we stayed in was...
