We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is good value for money given its location which is 5 minutes from the Colosseum, about 1 minute from a Metro Stop and easy walking to the major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable and beds were made up each morning. The Breakfast was very basic, a packaged croissant, tea, coffee,... More

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimalist but totally fine (tea/coffee/fruit juice + toast/cereal/croissant). Wi-fi was good in the rooms except the ones furthest down the hall (I was moved from room 5 to room 3 because of this, and my friend in room 4 was having problems). Staff were friendly and helpful, though you should be prepared... More

Our party of 4 stayed here for 3 nights before a cruise. We wanted 2 rooms but they only had a quadruple room available, so we took it. I informed them that we are 2 couples as I did not want to end up in a twin bed, and that is exactly what happened ! The quadruple room was not... More

The quality of a place you stay depends a lot on your expectations. This is not a 5* hotel, but good value considering price, location and the standard of the rooms. Breakfast is self-service and to be taken to your room; as in all Italian hotels, it is not considered the main meal of the day (croissant, juice, coffee). Despite... More

The Tourist House was perfect for my family (myself, husband and our 4 year old)! It was in a great location - just a block or so away from the Colosseum and right behind the building was a mecca of delicious restaurants and eateries. The host & co-owner, Pompeo was extremely nice and helpful. Although the accomodations weren't luxurious, for... More

My wife and I were looking for a good, clean, budget hotel close to everything Rome has to offer, and this was exactly what we were looking for! It was above average as the value of the location [5-10 min walk to the Coliseum and new entrance to Forum, 10-15 min walk to Trajan's Column and Capitoline hill, 15-20 min... More

My husband and I finished up our honeymoon in Rome. Choose the Tourist House because of the location to the ancient center. The location is PERFECT- we walked to Colesseum,Trevi Fountain, Spanish Stairs, Pantheon... all the way to the Vatican! So we really only went back to the B & B, to shower and sleep. It is a bit difficult... More

We just wanted to tell you about you about our stay at the Tourist House. Although it's location was pretty good, the "House" lacked so much I don't know where to begin. You should note that if you dont have a taxi or a car taking you there it can be very hard to find because there are no signs... More

I wanted to write a more up to date review of this B&B as the others are all pretty bad. We stayed here for one night as our original B&B (B&B suburbe roma) had double booked us. We were dropped off in a taxi outside the buidling so we found it ok, but i can see that it might be... More

I couldn't agree more with the first review, "Book here if you like cold showers." We reserved two rooms about a month prior to visiting Rome for vacation. Traveling in group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). When we dialed the number, we got an english speaking person who was great to work with. He answered questions and arranged... More
