- Mercure Hotel Rome
- Accor Roma Corso Trieste

Spent 3 nights here, first time in Rome. It was further away from the major sights than anticipated but the extremely helpful staff were quick to guide us to the most suitable buses to get where we wanted to go.
Rooms are adequate and clean, breakfast options were good and whilst we would probably stay closer to the action next...

Dear Guest,
thank you for your remarks.
If I have well read from your review, you have stayed in our hotel in June 2011 last year and the pictures you have displayed are no more representative of the actual hotel product .

The hotel is nice and clean. It is also very quiet. However, we thought the staff wasn't very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. They recommended Pepe Verde (close to the hotel) and my mother and I were treated so badly, it ruined our last night in Rome. I would not recommend that place...the hotel is good if you don't...

Hotel is located out of the main tourist attractions, however it takes about 30 minutes by walk to get to the Termini. There are couple of parks nearby. We loved that after a long day. It is a quiet place as well.
Reception and the staff was very helpful.

Fortunately, we only stayed there the very last night of a tour coming down from Florence. The location is not only far from all sites, it is in a very unattractive area. I would be hesitant to walk there after dark. We had a terrace but it was impossible to go out on it since it was full of pigeon...

As I can understand you have been assigned a room in a high floor, with a balcony, usually very appreciated by our Guests.

I spent a week there recently, from April 11-17, 2012. Upon entering the hotel I received a warm welcome from the desk clerk and some general information, along with a map of the city. The staff greet and interact with the guests in a courteous manner. My room was clean, adequately furnished and the bathroom facilities modern. Breakfast is either...

Very good service, breakfast, clean rooms, new floors, entrance being refurbished, gentle reception. Delivers what it says it will. Note: a/c wasn't working and was allegedly turned off for the whole building, but wasn't needed.

The hotel is located away from the city center but this is not a negative point and that is because the guest can stay away from the overcrowded city center.
The hotel is near 2 bus stations (5 minutes walk max), one of them linking the metro station Bologna (3 stations to the hotel or 15 to 20 minutes walk)...
