Hotel Mercure corso trieste is far from city centre but it can be a pleasant walk down to Termini station for about one hour. Its only by day. At night it isadvisable to take a taxi. The hotel is nice and clean. It is also very quiet. However, we thought the staff wasn't very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. Hotel is located out of the main tourist attractions, however it takes about 30 minutes by walk to get to the Termini. There are couple of parks nearby. We loved that after a long day. It is a quiet place as well. Reception and the staff was very helpful. More

Fortunately, we only stayed there the very last night of a tour coming down from Florence. The location is not only far from all sites, it is in a very unattractive area.
