The hotel is not 4* at all. If I had to compare it, it's on the same level as travelodge. It is clean but the room was tiny. I did not have breakfast or go to the breakfast room as the breakfast ended at 930am (too early for me to eat) however being on the 6th floor and what I... More

I had read a lot of reviews that had said that this was by no means a 4 star hotel.. Which I have to admit it wasn't. But at the same time this hotel was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We went on a weekend trip to Rome (Friday to Sunday), with a view of seeing all the sites... More

The staff was friendly, cleanliness was average. Air conditioning didn't work properly. Breakfast was very poor. The hotel is close to the central station, central location, and good restaurants around, although quite shabby area during night. More

I booked this as "Secret Hotel" with the promise of a 4 star rating... Although it is clearly not a 4* (in english terms) it certainly made up for it's lack of amenities in other ways. I too read the reviews prior to departure and must say I was somewhat concerned as to the negative points but it was booked... More

Well ....It was listed as a 4 stars hotel and i don't see why. That is a two stars hotel top. It clearly needs a fresh paint, it's old and in some parts dated and somehow dirty. The room was Ok, with a fridge, though noisy because mine was on the street. Bathroom was nice size and clean. Was on... More

We stopped of at Termini and was at the hotel within 10 minutes walk, perfect, Outside it looks dated and old, but as you walk up the marble stairs it is lovely. We was early but they didn't mind, gave us our keys, explained we're we were on the maps on the counter and answered any question we had giving... More

The hotel it's is lovely, rooms are smallish, but your in Rome! Lovely building and decoration and fanatastic location, very close to termini for bus to airport and other sites. The breakfast is not amazing and the shower was not very clean. Our safe did not work, but they sent someone up to try and fix it, when they couldn't... More

Having read lots of the lastminute.com mystery hotel reviews I was very apprehensive about this hotel after having booked myself, my husband and our friends in for a 3 night mini break. Whilst i agree that this hotel is no longer of the 4* variety I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and tidy and had the facilities stated... More

I’ve read some of the other reviews and I think some are a little unfair. I too booked through Lastminute.com but I didn’t book this as a secret hotel, I was aware of which hotel I was booking. I don’t know what the others paid as a secret hotel, but I paid £69.00. £69.00 for a central Rome hotel that... More

I booked this hotel through 'lastminute.com' as a secret 4 star hotel for a 4 day break with my partner. On arrival at reception, it was quite clear that this 1 star hotel was masquerading as a 4 star hotel! Although the receptionist was polite and courteous on arrival, this cannot be said of the other staff who did not... More
