- Flaminius Hotel Rome

I stayed 2 nights and got what I paid for. the bed was ok, the room was the right size. the aircon was working perfectly. it is very quiet and you can really have a good night's rest.
cons: the shower area was too small. hotel was way out of town (not even in Rome!) -18mins by regional train; around...

Seriously, I booked this as part of a package and was aware it was 'a little' way out of the city but not this far! If you are landing at the airport anytime after 8pm you still have to take a taxi from Terminus rail station to the hotel. The taxi cost us 70Euros and throughout the journey the driver...

I travelled with my cousin on a girls city break to Rome from London- we ended up checking into the hotel very late and the first room we were shown too the bed's weren't made and the toilet was very dirty. We went back down to reception and he showed us a 'nicer suite room', which was a lot larger...

From Termini just take Bus...

However the location is not at all suitable for families with kids particularly if you are using public transport.. From the centre of town we have to take a suburban train (the website says tram ride which...

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, and would have moved if I had not pre-paid for my room. While I was out, the room cleaner opened my bedroom window. There was a huge storm, and the rain poured in all over my suitcase. My clothes and shoes were soaked...luckily books and electronics were only a little damp. To...
