- Pinewood Hotel Rome

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and will not make the same mistake twice. The reception staff were rude, (and the way the cleaning staff were spoken to by management was apalling) the breakfast was terrible and the rooms...........don't get me started !!!!!! It felt not clean, the bath/shower screen leaked like a sieve, the blankets on the...

We stayed here with our 7 year old son, had a triple room on the 3rd floor with a balcony .Yes, the rooms are small but its only a place to sleep. The staff are very friendly, the place is clean, the breakfast is adequate. Contrary to the other reviews,we found the area to be quite acceptable and had an...

We stayed at Pinewood Hotel for 5 days on February. The hotel is dated and i am sure that was never renovated. The rooms are small and the bed is awful. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The breakfast is below zero. The reception staff was very helpful but the restaurant staff was the opposite. Location is also bad if...

This is perhaps one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed.
First of all it was not in a good area. Bums sleeping in park across the street, graffiti and such.
The hotel service was awful, could not get a drink either night in the bar, as bartender also did many other duties. Front desk agent also was operator,...

The Hotel in not central located, but is only 10 minutes away (walk) from Cornelia metro station. The lobby was spatious and clean.
My room was quiet, very clean and warm . The bed was very comfortble and linen and towels fresh. There was a buffet breakfast, good variety but no brown bread and fresh fruits.
Staff was helpful, polite and...

Another late booking on Superbreak, very reasonably priced.
Clean welcoming hotel, close to Metro and a couple of good restaurants.Lovely quiet room, (surprisingly as we were next to the lift, but heard nothing) well equipped with comfortable bed, good aircon /heating (really good as we stayed there when Rome was almost closed down with the snow and freezing temperatures) excellent...

Booked this hotel on lastminute.com for a very reasonable price. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from 'Cornelia' Metro station so access to all of Rome is very good. It is not in a particularly nice part of town.. Lots of graffiti and rubbish.. But the hotel itself is clean. Very basic but we had a comfortable stay for...

Pros: Friendly service, all you can eat breakfast that is well stocked, reasonable rates, close to metro lines (10 minute walk), park across the street with panoramic view of Rome.
Cons: Small room (our room was one of the smallest), small bathrooms (even for European standards), high cost for internet access.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again...

Stayed four nights in a family room with four beds. A tight squeeze. Small bathroom with smaller shower compartment in bathtub.
Walls were not the cleanest and breakfast was adequate and the same each day but hotel was a short walk to the bus lines and metro. Very convenient to get around the city.
A real nice restaurant, Frankie's, close...
