We spent a week at Stendhal Hotel and we found it very well located, a few steps from the metro station, nice little restaurants and lounge bars around, waking distance from Spanish Plaza and Fontana di Trevi. The staff is very helpful and english was not a problem some of them speak spanish too. The only hickup was that upon... More

Dear Customer, We would like to apologize for all the inconvenients occurred during your stay in the Stendhal, unfortunately in a small boutique Hotel as the Stendhal the least error in the bookings is heavily paid. Nevertheless we are very pleased to have read your good review about the Hotel and the services. We like to inform that, on advanced... More

I've now stayed at the Stendhal twice, and I will happily return. It is perfect for business travel, and for soloists and couples. I wouldn't recommend it for families or anyone who needs to take up a lot of space. It has a great location just off the Piazza Barberini near the foot of the Via Veneto. The hotel is... More

We spent a very comfortable two nights at the Stendhal on our first trip to Italy (this hotel was included in a package we ordered from Costco). The hotel is centrally located- there's a Metro station around the corner (handy for getting to the Vatican) and it's within a few blocks of the Trevi fountain. The Colosseum and some of... More

I spent 5 nights in the Stendhal in early January 2012 with my teenage son. The hotel is cosy and most of the staff are friendly, but there was an unpleasant incident upon arrival: I had asked for a room with twin beds, since sleeping with my oversized teenage son in the same bed deranges my sleep too much (he... Hi- 8 of us stayed at the hotel and had a brilliant time. Lovely rooms (although street can be a little noisy). Delicious breakfast. Incredibly kind and attentive staff. Good bar across the road. Definitely recommend the hotel!! More

Finally, a true 4 star hotel in the very heart of Rome! While many supposed "4 stars hotel" in the center of Rome are literally dives you just want run away from, this delicious boutique hotel offered us a beautiful room, a very professional and polite crew (which is something very rare in Rome, unfortunately) and an elegant atmosphere. The... More

I would totally recommend to sleep here, of you want a cheap, luxury, downtown hotel. Right across piazza barberini and Fontana Di trevi. More

Located meters from Piazza di Barberini, and short walk from both Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi. Double Superior room was great and relatively spacious in comparison to the hole we stayed in the last time we where in Rome. Breakfast was nice and the staff was welcoming. If you don't mind paying close to £200 a night then... More

We arrived at the Stendhal and we were welcomed by Damiano, the receptionist on the evening shift. We left our staff and went out and about in Rome to enjoy. We came back late at night exhausted from our trip too, and we noticed on our bedsheets that there were HAIR from previous clients and it was just disgusting. On... More

Dear customer, we are sincerely sorry for not having met your satisfaction, unfortunately, two critical situations are added during your stay. Regarding the noises heard in the morning, these were caused by work in the adjoining building and not inside of the Stendhal; we were not advised about the work, if we had known we asking, as usual, to start... We were welcomed at Hotel Stendhal by the friendly Damiano and the very polite porter showed us a great room. The actual bedroom was small but we had a walk-in wardroom, a well-equipped marble bathroom and (we had been upgraded!!) a fantastic terrace. On crisp sunny mornings and chilly evenings we enjoyed sitting out in the open. Our room was... More
