Pleasantly surprised! Nice, airy room. Extremely helpful front desk. Do not hesitate to ask for help with luggage. Cannot beat the area. Two blocks from the Spanush Steps. Arrived from train from Florence, and took the metro A Line without having to deal with the elements around Termini Station. All the fashionable shops nearby. Within wAlking distance to all tourist sights. More

I wouldn't go back to Hotel Panda only because the location is near such a busy and crowded area, but for a first-timer to Rome it's great because it's centrally located and you can walk everywhere without missing any sights or views. The price probably can't be beat. We had a private bath (I insist) and it worked out well.... More

Positives: location, clean, tastefully designed rooms, restaurants around, safe area, free wifi, shower was always hot, two of receptionists where nice (third one, the older lady was not that welcoming, no smile and very cold) Negative: small shower, washroom smells bad odor, dust on furniture, elevator is useless (doesnt stop at enterance and second floor where the reception is, plus... It's not fancy, but it's a great basic hotel. It's the second time that I stayed in this spot. It's in a great location, it's very clean, and it's affordable. The rooms aren't huge, they are clean, they have free wifi, a secure lobby, and the staff is very nice and accomodating. A great place! More

We are at Hotel Panda now. We love it. It's safe, clean and the location is amazing. Everything is walking distance. We are with our 11 and 13 year old kids. We're from NYC and so we're used to walking. Still, we've barely used any transportation, except when it was pouring rain. We've walked from the hotel to the Colosseum,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in March 2012. It's in a great location a couple of blocks from the Spanish Steps and quite a bit cheaper than most hotels in the area, and I had stayed here happily many years ago in my backpacking days. I was a bit worried about whether it would prove to... More

We (a couple) stayed three nights in March, 2012. We had room 29, which has an en suite bathroom with shower (not all do). The room was big enough for us-it had a single bed (made a great suitcase stand) in addition to the double, and a closet for hanging coats. My guess is that all rooms are not that... More

We stayed here in May 2011 for 3 nights. There was myself, my husband and my little girl who had just turned 1. The location of this hotel was fantastic, great for restaurants and all the sights. Also very convenient to nip back which was very hand with a baby. Cannot say I noticed much noise, it certanly didn't keep... More

Pros: - Excellent location (near metro stop, near Spanish step, many restarants and coffee nearby, easy walking to many tourist points, many shopping around....) - Clean room - Although the hotel don't have breakfast room but coffee in the nearby restaurant is good. Cons: - The tinest room I have ever seen. We could only enter the room and jump... More

The hotel Panda is a basic hotel but in a great location. I think our room was a triple as it had a small cotbed also in it, so it was not quite as small as I think it could have been if we had a normal double, and it had an en-suite and tiny balcony at the back looking... More
