We wanted a friendly, quiet hotel near to lots of restaurants so that we didn't have to walk around too much at night. We also wanted to be near the metro and the centre of Rome for the daytime. My husband and I along with his parents stayed in 2 standard doubles. The rooms are indeed very small, but we just showered and slept in them, so they were fine. The bathroom was bigger than we expected. The edge of the shower was very tall and could be difficult for a shorter person to get into the shower easily....
