Below is the review I had mentioned in hotels.com for my visit couple of years back. Then I saw response from the hotel management with 3 false clarifications: 1. "I asked for refund or threatened with bad review". Can't believe these guys could go to such extent of lies to save their face. 2. "They gave me 3 new rooms". They showed me one larger room and asked me to pay additional amount. I didn't move there as the AC situation was same. 3. "There is option to manage ac temperature". Who doesn't know this. The ac with minimum temperature setting was blowing just warm air. Stayed beginning of August. AC was blowing warm air. Could not fall asleep till 12 in the night when it gets cooler outside. AC is very basic amenity that any hotel cannot go wrong. Mini fridge was not working. Carpets had dirt ingrained. Wifi disconnects intermittent. Owner did visit. He asked me to move to another room by paying extra amount. Did check that. But AC seems to be too old in all the rooms. He just asked to talk to the booking customer care instead of resolving himself. Did not give me option to move to different hotel by denying refund though he agreed on all the issues. Was mentioned as city view, but the room allocated to me was facing backside houses.

I booked 2 rooms the 13th January 2020. I paid as requested from the property the day of my booking. Few weeks later I received an email from Booking.com telling me my booking was canceled. What? No motivation from them, I tried to call 10000 times no answers, emails no answers. I called Booking.com customer service and apparently they canceled all bookings as they are doing some renovations.... like they didn’t know in January that they were planning to do renovations 2 weeks later??? I don’t believe it. Anyway Booking.com also couldn’t reach them and they had to give me my money back for them. I actually believe that they took bookings during the renovations that they planned and knew to have an income. Maybe they paid the renovations with all the canceled bookings... this hotel is a SPAM DONT BOOK !!

The location is ok, breakfast was decent and the bathroom was clean. Everything else was a disaster. The carpet, chair and headboard were dirty and disgusting. No phone in the room, no lamp. The mini bar was moldy. Go to an airbnb instead.

The rooms are a bit dated, but the location is great. Close to a bubbly area with many bars and restaurants and a 24h pharmacy. The breakfats was very basic, but we could walk to the Olympic Stadium. Good for a overnight stay for a game.

We were 3 persons so we booked a triple room, which was pokey, there were 2 tiny wardrobes with only 1 hanger in each, carpet was disgusting, curtains couldn't be drawn,we asked for an ex tra pillow they didnt even have any and television wasn't even working well,it had an interrupted sound and picture kept coming and going, terrible. On a positive note bed linen and towels were very clean. I have relatives in the area and will be visiting again next month but definitely not there. Breakfast wasn't too bad but same condition of breakfast room filthy carpet, over all very tatty.

if you're planning an Event at olimpico stadio, this hotel location is just perfect. only 10min walk to the stadium. the area seems to be safe and clean, with some nice restaurants and coffee bars. i would only recommend the hotel for 1 or maximum 3 nights. the Rooms are kinda outdated and the air in the room was stale. the staff at the reception were really helpful and friendly. the breakfast buffet was okay but not outstanding. I would stay there again, if I'd visit another Event at the stadium.

The best characteristic of this hotel is the position. You can reach by foot some restaurant, the Olympic stadium and the Ponte Milvio. My room was quite limited in space although it was with a matrimonial bed. In general the place is clean. People I met were very kind and ready to help. Very nice the terrace where the breakfast is served. Not very high but enough to begin to taste the charme of Rome

Very basic hotel, small rooms no possibility to work/no desk, but nice and clean. Very traditional building with restaurants and bars nearby (100m). Continental breakfast, friendly staff who all speak English

We stayed here for 5 nights to watch the Longines Grand Prix show jumping at the Stadio dei Marmi - an easy walk to the stadium was our main criterion and it was a gentle 10 minute stroll away. So, we were immediately happy with the location - but that just got better. The hotel pointed us to an excellent fish restaurant (Molo10) just 100 meters away while in the other direction there was an enoteca that was an Aladdin's cave of Italian wine that also served food. The first good impression was made by the helpful, friendly reception staff who throughout our stay couldn't do enough for us, the second by our room which was large, had a big balcony and looked out towards the spectacular Parrocchia Gran Madre di Dio. The room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and for once there were coat hangers to spare. The fairly typical breakfast was upstairs with a roof terrace - same view as the room more or less. One thing about this hotel is that it is some distance from the historic center of Rome in a non-tourist suburb which we hadn't visited before but which was ideal for our purposes and the hotel Farnesina was the best value for money place we stayed in during our 2 1/2 week trip that culminated in the showjumping grand prix. The Olympic stadium is next to the Stadio dei Marmi and a couple of major football games were hosted during our stay. The area got lively, sure enough, but we didn't find ourselves having to run the gauntlet of drunken supporters and the buzz was really enjoyable - probably more to do with how Italians treat alcohol, unlike us Brits. At the bottom of the road is the pedestrian Ponte Milvio and a little further on over the Tiber is the MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts, so there is plenty to do around here without tangling with the historic center crowds. No wifi problems - the best of the whole trip. Call me a cheapskate, but the cost of this hotel and the fact that the showjumping in Rome is completely free for spectators (programmes and all) made this a cheaper, far more fun and convenient deal than staying in Chelsea to watch the English leg of the Longines grand prix. We will be going to this hotel again next September - it's a no-brainer!

I recently stayed at the Farnesina Hotel last week, and I was left with a great impression. I was in a corner room with a huge balcony overlooking the street. I recommend room 207 (beautiful view and big room). The shower was very strange, it was hard to find a good temperature, but not impossible. Breakfast was good, a wide selection of food (toast, eggs, yogurt) and of course coffee. I typically ordered a cappuccino and ate an egg with fruit. The staff was amazing, always eager to make sure that I was happy. Any cons to the hotel are greatly outweighed by the friendliness of the staff. They were amazing and always eager to help. The staff at the Hotel Farnesina is what I wished the staff at all hotels would be like. The WIFI was terrible, but I had an international plan on my phone, so I would keep that in mind.
