We booked this hotel based on reviews we had seen on Trip Advisor, and we weren't disappointed. For three nights bed and breakfast it was very reasonably priced (including flights we paid £224 each for the holiday). It is based in the south of Rome, and you will need to get the metro to the centre of Rome, however the... More

Bad relation price/quality, too expensive for the service quality and location. Small rooms and small bathrooms. Unpleasant employees. Reception on the basement. Internet is payed and awful. Only italian channels in room, dont have satellite tv as they said. Air conditioner dont work. Can hear the noise from other rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast is low quality, the employees take many... My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Saint Paul for 5 days.We were shocked at the appearence of the rooms. The first room offered had peeling floor tiles, abroken toilet seat .We were given another choice but it wasn,t much better. The bed springs were poking up and we had to ask for a mattress pad to be able to... More

Right let me start of by telling you how hard it was to find this little gem amongst the rubbish available in Rome!!! Hotels and b&bs in the centre of Rome tend to be overpriced and generally of a terrible quality. I read an extensive range of online Roman hotel reviews and from recommendations from Italian friends, Hotel Saint Paul... More

We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of September. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly members of staff who were very helpful and when we had any questions, they were willing to help by offering maps and giving us directions to the nearest metro station. We had problems with payment issues before our trip had even started and... More

This was a real value for money hotel... (4 beds room). The 10 minutes walk form the metro station was ok in the morning but seemed far away when we came back at night. This is not an easy hotel to reach back and relax at noon and go back to Rome (we did it only once). It is a... More

we were very excited about our trip to italy, and got a good price for our package via last minute.com but although the hotel was labelled a 4* when we arrived the room we had was beneath ground level and the windows faced concrete. we asked to move and they obliged by doing so the next day. the new room... We stayed at the St Paul Hotel at the end of August for 5 nights. The hotel itself is clean and modern with good staff, who appeared more professional than friendly. Otherwise very helpful with directions into town and bus routes etc. Our room was a good size, but the bathroom was a bit small. The TV in our room... More

Hotel was well kept and spotless, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms were typically small but nicely furnished. Minor issues that we had that we could have avoided: Internet service is available in room but very expensive, hotel was quite far from Roma Ostiense train station and even further from city centre and no iron or ironing room - actually...
