We stayed here for a few days and grew to like it more as time passed. I must admit I didn't feel comfortable the first time I walked there from the station, but if you take a route further from the train line it is much nicer. It is a good location if you like walking, and there are great... More

I stayed there for three nights with my girlfriend, for a "surprise gift" weekend. The B&B is a three-room flat on 1st floor, with a small kitchen where guest can have meals, cook and store food in the refrigerator. Our room (103) was quite small, with bathroom and TV, facing the backyard, so no noise at all from the outside.... More

We arrived late and were met by Daniela, who was very accommodating - even assisting us with our heavy suitcases. We found the triple room to be a good size, comfortable beds although there was quite some noise from the main street during the evening. The bathroom was quite small, yet very clean. Breakfast was simple - consisting of croissants,... More

Hotel was very good with a nice breakfast. The staff were very nice and always eager to help out. The only problem was that they did not speak much english and they did not have a 24hr reception. But the rooms were spacious and the bathroom was good. There was a kitchen where we took our breakfast everyday which consisted of... More

I would give only 2 points on "cleanliness" - the room is actualy tidy, but noise from the street is too much in room 101. Suppose same noise in room 102, probably much better for room 103, which faces the space between the blocks. Actually this would be the only negative comment for this b&b from my side. Very communicative... More

This B&B is in a handy location - nearby to Marzoni Metro station and a large supermarket, and about 15 mins walk from the Roman Forum. It is basically three bedrooms and a kitchen in a converted apartment, on the first floor, so if you like a smaller more friendly place to stay, it's very good although I doubt it... More

Don't believe the previous review, that area is not doggy at all! It's just 10 mins walking from the colosseum, and 5 from a park...closed and locked during the night, so not dangerous at all! there's a bar in the corner where the residents (real roman people) go to have a coffee or watch football...and i don't see anything scary... We had actually booked into B&B Emanuele (after looking at positive web reviews) but due to unexplained 'technical problems' we were given a room here instead. We had to follow a woman who spoke no english (and I speak no italian) and ended up at Chiara Stella. This was my 3rd time in 3 yrs I've been to Rome and... More

The owner Mr Giovanni is very nice and he even picked us up at the Termini station. We arrived rather late and he offered us some croissants and drinks in case we were hungry. Everything looked really new and good. It was very clean as well, and not noisy at all. The owners are very kind people, but they speak... More
