“Not the worst, but not the best”

My one big complaint: the description for Royal Home (on wotif.com) advertised 'breakfast included', however it failed to note that this involved being given a coupon for a croissant and coffee at the McDonald's down the road. Otherwise, it was clean and relatively well situated, however the staff weren't as gracious as described in other reviews. More

I recently stayed at the Royal Home for 7 days during my vacation to Rome. The Hotel was very close to the Metro (Basilica San Paolo) and several buses. The hotel was clean and nicely maintained. This is a lovely, excellent value, refuge to come "home" to after a hard day of sight-seeing.
