We stayed in one of the private rooms as it was my fiance and I travelling. When we arrived, there was a mini bottle was champagne in our room! Of all the hostels we stayed in our Europe trip, this one was the cleanest and had the best air conditioning. Staff was touch and go; front desk was very friendly,... More

Surely a very bad experience!! I live in the building where the hostel is located. Lot of people are packed in a sort of cubicle rooms, lot of drunk guests!!!! I was there during several different brawls between guests of the hostel and other people in the street. Too noise inside and outside the building. There isn't a real common... More

This week I went to Rome with my friends, to spend there our holidays. We stayed there for 3 days and as students we looked for the good, but cheap hotel/ hostel. Legends hostel has a good location - close to the centre and few minutes walking from the bus station, which takes you to the airport. Nearby there are... More

The Legends Hostel was extremely easy to find, very close to the train station and bus ports, and within walking distance to just about everything. The rooms were very clean, showers worked perfectly and there was space to lock up your belongings. There was free breakfast every morning (cereal and a roll with coffee/water) which was great, and 2 nights... More

My philosophy is that when you're visiting any city, you don't stay in the room, unless you are very very sick. Since it's a hostel, you need it only to sleep, shower and eat some breakfast, eventually. Some people complain about the lock-out period, probably for the party people, that come at 5am to sleep, it might be a problem, but for... More

Lots of problems. (a) They forcibly evict your from your room every day from 10:00AM - 3:00PM. They do so to "clean", which in fact takes only 3-4 minutes. I expect that they have this lock out in order to save on their electric bill. (b) There is no real common area; only a small room with some small tables... More

The worst hostel I've stayed in. Twin room had one real bed and one with a collapsing mattress (which they finally changed for our third/final night). The air-conditioning did not exist (apparently was on a timer?) and we were COVERED head to toe with bed bugs starting from the first night. 30 degrees outside, 40 degrees inside!! The staff were... Great location, minutes walk from the Roma Termini, with a secure gated entrance, nearby bars/restaurants/market and laundry with internet. The dorm rooms are fairly sizeable with a hutch for luggage and ensuite bathroom (plus hall bathrooms that are pretty much communal). Cereal/toast breakie is light but comp'd and the free pasta dinner sign up each night is a good beer... More
