We tent camped at Flaminio Village. The tent sites are located in an open field with little shade, privacy and organization. During our second night, the campsite road flooded and our tent was in 18 inches of water. The office did not provide any assistance or relief and stated the area floods during heavy rains 3-4 times per year. Using... More

We styaed here for three nights with our two children. Our main reason for picking this place was that we had a rental car and it seemed easier to stay on the outskirts of Rome where parking was easy and commute in without worrying about our car. We had one of the bungalows for four people. It had two bedrooms,... More

...out of the seven we experienced this trip. We arrived by campervan, so our experience might not be shared by people in tents or chalets. Like many Italian sites the size of each pitch is not generous, but the very helpful chap at reception allowed us to change to a bigger pitch without any hassle. We found all the reception... More

My boyfriend and I booked our trip to Rome through Expedia, and the cost for the flights for us both plus 10 days of accommodation at Flaminio Village cost us just over £700 (so £350 each). We did see when we they were there that the advertised price for the Room Venezia that we had booked was 84 Euros for... More

Excessive ventilation allows spiders to get in room. Paper thin walls. If on foot, very difficult to get to. Shuttle does not run often. Staff provides limited information. Restaraunt staff friendly. Food is good. More

This place is a bit of a mixed bag. It's relatively cheap for Rome but then it's a bit of a way out from the city. You need to take a 5 minute walk from the gate to the local train station. From there it's a 20 minute ride into town. The worst part of our stay was the first... More

Lovely wee campsite on the outskirts of Rome - train takes about ten minutes and you have to request it to stop but it is fine. Campsite is located on a main road which is a nightmare - we arrived late at night and thought we were toast! However, during the day it is completely fine - just use the... More

This was my third visit to Rome and the first time I brought my own tent. I had stayed at the Plus Camping site on the west side of Rome on my previous visits. I had enjoyed both previous stays there but as a solo traveller this year Plus camping were charging double price for their tent. so I decided... More

Sold as a 4 star hotel. It is not. As chalet accommodation at a camp site they are very good. Our cabin was large, spacious & warm (October). It was well looked after and clean. There is a good restaurant where a reasonable breakfast is served. Next to it is the camp shop. There is also a supermarket near by.... More

I stayed for 8 nights in total here - 4 nights Rome, 4 nights Sorrento, 4 nights Rome Location: The way to the site is not the easiest or the nicest but it’s certainly doable. There are things that they 'the campsite' cannot affect, like having decent pathways or an easier approach or less busy roads to cross 10 min... More
