The location is good...close to the metro and the Termini Station...that is about it! Dirty, old and the staff....extremely dry and rude....every single one of them. The bedroom was old and our third bed was horrible...the bathroom walls were dirty..the hallways were weird and almost scary...I was expecting to see those dead twins from the movie "The Shining" at any... We bought a three night deal including flights for less than £300 per person in November so cannot be sure what proportion was for the hotel. Apart from a toilety smell in the well appointed bathroom, which I believe to be common in Rome, the deal was good. We were quite happy with the breakfast which seemed to go down well... More

Impero is fair value, but don't expect luxury. Beds comfortable, rooms well equipped with tv, fridge, air conditioning, desk, mirrors etc. Shower a bit small, maids were excellent and flexible at cleaning at different times of day. Breakfast a little underwhelming, not the best selection ever. Location excellent for Termini station, some reviewers say it's situated near the major sights,... More

The only good thing about the Impero Hotel in Rome is the location although. There are numerous other hotels in the area and is literally 5mins walk from Termini station. It is not value for money especially where breakfast is concerned. Items offered very very limited and not fresh. Stale bread and disgusting coffee.not very clean either. Breakfast tables with... Close enough to walk to the sites. Maybe take a cab to the Vatican though. Very close to the train station. The showers are really small, but the room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a refrigerator in the room as well. The breakfast was always good with lots of selection. More

We stayed here for 2 brilliant nights, we were really impressed, the pictures do not do it justice... Great location walk-able to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, it is clean and the staff were helpful, note the map they give is not to scale, your a lot nearer to everything. Breakfast wasn't great, and didn't realise how many people were in... More

I can't really write a review about this hotel since I never really got to stay here, but my experience was not pleasant. I had booked this hotel for 2 nights, and the first night when I arrived to check-in, a bell boy was asked to take me to another hotel without any sort of explanation. I wasn't told if... More

Spent a lovely six days and nights at this quaint and cozy hotel. Our room was small with twin beds that were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the tub was deep. Hand-held shower attachment. Small refrigerator and a safe. No frills but clean and comfortable. Lovely rooftop terrace. Our room over looked the Opera House and plaza. Loved... More

This was our first trip to Rome and the hotel worked out fine. the front desk was always helpful and cordial, and the old fashioned keys were a suprise. The bar and dining room were nice and the food typical European fare especially being included in the price. It is a fair walk to any major tourist attractions but the... More

We came into Rome by way of train and it was a short walk to this hotel. They held our bags until the room was ready and even had it ready early. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and cute. Right next door is the Opera House. Great restaurants all around and even a grocery store... More
