Having been to Rome before, I have had the opportunity to stay in various locations, but certainly Serendipity surpassed my expectations. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. As for the location, it is situated just a few blocks from Termini and incredibly convenient. I was so happy with the hotel that I actually stayed two weeks for the first... More

Located about a 5 minute walk from Termini Station. When walking to/from Termini, there is a major street to cross. I was timid my first day and used the crosswalk at an intersection with a traffic light, but gradually adapted to Rome traffic and used the more convenient crosswalk that is in front of the hotel (no traffic light). The... More

Pros -Very friendly service/owners -Delicious breakfast (traditional Italian - pastry, cappucino and juice) -Free WiFi! Cons -Not easy to find the first time -Very sketchy about taking credit cards... provide different excuses. I think they are trying to save the service fees -Blanket in bed was very worn/tattered... I wouldn't use it at the beach/camping All in all, I would... More

My wife and I were in Rome for the Weekend when I lost my Passport… Ricardo, the owner immediately phoned the last place I've been and asked them to look for it… while printing out the address, phone and fax numbers of my embassy. Then we hopped on his motorcycle and he drove me to the embassy (scary ride..). You... More

serendipity is not a hotel is a residence, there is no phone in the room, and they will not necessarily take the message if someone calls, but other than that, they are great (I don´t need a phone in the room, and when I on vacation I don´t care who calls me!)! The room is clean and nice, the bed... More

Located 12 mins away from the Train terminal, this was one of the 2 hotels we stayed at in Rome. The rooms were clean, average in space, the beds were firm and there is access via a small lift that fits 2 person and 2 pieces of luggage exactly. Though located near the train station, it is on the quieter... More

We arrived in Rome around 9:30pm and did not find the hotel until 11pm due to the lack of clear directions from the hotel's website. We then called the hotel and the staff was incompetent and could not give us clear directions, such as a landmark (there is a gas station next door, which would have been helpful to know)... More

The room is located a 5 minute walk from Termini station, and a 20-30 minute walk to the Coliseum/Forum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little sparse, but was large, clean, and had a private bath/shower with TV. The breakfast place was around the corner, but the owner there was quite friendly as well. Not... More

Serendipity is a wonderful hotel that is incredibly good value for money. Situated in a very handy location, approx 5 mins from Termini Station and short walking distance to many good cafes and restaurants. The hotel feels very secure, and the rooms were always kept pristine. Breakfast was good, with fresh local produce regularly brought in. Drinks facilities were not... More

Whether you arrive from Ciampino(Terravisionbus) or Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci express) airport- hotel is very easy to find. Out right from Termini- up via Marghera. At end you look right and see the big yellow building- very easy to find. Yes there is a main way to cross to get there- in Rome drivers do not know what these white... More
