From the moment you walk in the large wooden doors into the marble hallway towards the reception and spot the original slam door cage elevator, you know it's going to be a great stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfy and tastefully decorated. The air conditioned hallways and rooms are a god send in... More

Looked at lots of hotels before settling in this one. The hotel is perfectly located for virtually everything you would want to visit in Rome - we only took the metro to the Vatican everywhere else we walked to. The reception is manned 24 hours and was very secure - the small street where the hotel is located us very... More

Having read some very favourable reviews on Tripadvisor, and the hotel's own description of itself as a "luxury"boutique hotel, we were distinctly taken aback to be shown into our "Junior Suite" and found it to be absolutely tiny. The bed was kingsize, admittedly , but there was about 18 inches of space on either side of it, with a table... More

Stylish little hotel. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent location within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance of most of the major sights in a quiet but interesting little side-street with small supermarket ( few & far between) just opposite and several bistros/tavernas/restaurants in the vicinity as well as a handful of elegant boutiques. I can't fault it. More

With all the great reviews, we were so excited to come to this hotel. Unfortunately, we found it limiting. Not a great breakfast; rooms on the street (which were most of them) were noisy and filled with exhaust if you opened the window. If closed, it was much more quiet. Staff was ok except for one young woman at the... More

We’ve just returned from two weeks in the Val d’ Orcia area of Tuscany. It was amazing as always. We ended our Italy trip by staying in Rome for two nights before flying home. We stayed, for the second year, at Hotel Artorius and were very pleased with our stay. The owner and his staff: Carla and Meemo did everything... More

I have to give the Hotel 5 stars as for the price in this location it cannot be beat. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, great location, rooms are large enough to be comfortable, and a good breafast to start the day! We only stayed one night as we were at the end of our trip heading home, and have... More

Room was clean, service was very good. There were some defects in the room, however it was clean and quiet. Price was a little expensive, but that is normal for this area. More

Stayed 3 nights at this wonderful boutigue hotel. I researched the Internet for various levels of accomodation and was initially nervous at the 2* rating. I had been i vaious hotels the week before on business ad they were all 4* + but this little gem beat them all. We walked everywhere from this hotel except the Vatican and that... More
