As noted by others the rooms are small, but clean, close to trains, and within walking distance to many sites. If you have to use the lift be prepared to wait. Some of the staff was very helpful, others seemed disinterested and not well informed. There are some terrific restaurants close by. All-in-all, nothing about which to really rave or... More

I stayed in a room #14 as a solo traveller. I expected a smaller room as it was called a single room in my confirmation. But it turned out to be a standard room for two with a double bed. There was everything I might need in the room and nothing to complain about. The furniture was in a good... More

Well designed, spotless room. Small but we weren't in it that much. Equivalent of £50 per person per night so expecting basic. Mum slept fine but I was awake until the outside noise stopped around 1am. You can hear everything in the hotel as well so take good ear plugs and you'll be fine.

A nice, clean hotel - five minutes to the subway at Piazza del Popolo and five minutes by foot to Ara Pacis Augustae. The room is small, but has everything you need. Very quiet for being Rome too. The only downside was that Okapi does not serve any breakfast. There is a bar a few minutes away though, where you... More

Stayed for 3 nights from 17/05/2012. Booked this accommodation in early April and requested a twin room. We were allocated a double room at the back of the hotel. Ok as I was travelling with my daughter but might cause a few problems otherwise. Room was small and bathroom even smaller. Very clean but the sheets had a few visible... More

On north side of Rome - close to everything - metro stop near by, but you can walk to Vatican, Forum, Trevi Fountain, etc. Great room, nice people, a great escape during the day - what is not to like!

Okapi Rooms is a decent medium-range option near Piazza del Popolo, near restaurants and not far from several major sights. The hotel is fairly simple and the label 'boutique' perhaps suggests too much, but given the general price levels in Rome this is a good deal. The rooms are small, clean and well-equipped, with airco but only Italian TV channels.... More

This hotel is significantly cheaper than many others and in terms of value, it is actually quite good. Being a boutique hotel there is not a lot of noise from fellow travelers or millions of "extras" which bump up the price but generally on holidays I'm too busy to utilise. The hotel is in a great location, an easy walk... More

Just off the Piaza di Popolo, this hotel was perfect for our 5-day trip to Rome. Small rooms, but in Rome you don't spend much time in the room so this was not an issue. Around the hotel there are many places to eat and shop, and we found it was a perfect spot to walk to all the tourist... More
