Hotel Roma is only a one-minute walk away from the Piazza Maggiore in a pedestrian area. Rooms ( one twin, one single) are decent, bathroom small. Well maintained, very clean, wooden or tiled floor instead of unhygienic carpeting. Good airco in room, individually ajustable. No street noise when windows kept closed. Very helpful staff. Breakfast good. Free sumptuous welcome dinner... More

Before being hosted at a friends house I stayed at this hotel for a few days. The room was very spacious and the balcony overlooked the side of the basilica of S. Petronius. The staff really helped me kind of good restaurants to choose, their was unfortunately closed. Also convenient service garage, even in this case the reception was really... More

Stayed in Hotel Roma a few times over the last few years. The hotel has maintained the same standard throughout this time. Rooms are comfortable and clean. It does look slightly dated but not in a bad way. Great on premises restaurant with great service. Nice little bar too. Reception staff are OK but do treat better customers that can... More

The wireless is not free, the hotel in general is kind of old, not like charming old, just old. The rooms are clean and silent. Excellent location. More

This hotel has an excellent location, in the heart of Bologna. From here, you can easily walk to many interesting sights in the city, and we especially enjoyed the hotel being on a pedestrian street with many nice shops.. Our room was fine, although perhaps a bit dated, and the bathroom was rather small, but adequate and very clean. We... More

I am sorry to say this, but I feel we were fooled into this hotel. A booking service at the tourist office found the hotel for us, and the lady described it as at "nice" hotel. Our room, at least, was not nice. And extremely hot, although there were an air-condition in the room. We paid too much, and found... More

I stayed in this hotel for business. It is very well located, just in centre of the town. My room looked old fashioned, with old furniture, a small bathroom and a terribly noising air conditioning system: if the air condition set was on you really couldn't sleep because of its noise, if you switched it off you couldn't sleep because... We loved our stay.....the staff could not have been more helpful. Let us stay in the room past their generous check-out time. In addition to the superb restaurant in the hotel, there are a half dozen excellent ones within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and LOVED the blackout shutters. More

I've stayed at the Hotel Roma three times now. It's always less expensive than I expect, and I'm pretty sure that they leave off charges (like meals at the restaurant when guests dine with you, and bottles of wine/water). They've recently renovated the restaurant (though they've kept those chairs) and the food remains pretty good. The staff is very officious... More

I've spent there two nights on a business trip (I have no idea how much my stay has cost). My room was clean and comfortable with a nice view (not superb but characteristic) in Via D'Azeglio (pedestrian only). I found particularly enjoyable being able to go out and find me in the heart of the city. The breakfast was nothing... More
