The Star Hotel President in Genoa is a very good hotel. Staff speak English and French and were very helpfull. There is no safe in the room and the hotel is located far away from the old town were the action is(not is walking distance) but very close to the train station. More

This hotel feels like you have stepped into a scene from Faulty towers. I don't think they thrive on repeat business. The amenities were not up to scratch for a 4* hotel. The bar in the lobby was not staffed so we were unable to order drinks or coffee. The hotel was not good value for money. More

Whilst the beds are very comfortable the standard rooms are very small. The shower cubicle of 65x65 cm is a joke. The mould in it is a reality. We have asked the chambermaid to remove the mould, which she promised, but did not do!!! The carpets are also dirty and worn. Breakfast is below standard for this category. More
