The location was fantastic, the room (and hotel in general) has been beautifully refurbished, and the staff were very friendly and helpful - including the resident dog! The breakfast terrace on the 6th floor offers a lovely start to the day too. It was our first visit to Genoa and we shall return!

Quaint old hotel in the backstreets of Genoa, but the owner manager if probably the rudest most inhospitable hotelier we have ever met. They forget who is the customer unfortunately and front desk staff not communicating with each other for any changes. A pity as the location is interesting. We will not return.

When an hotel is furnished with love, there's no need of many stars. The owner says it's here "third son", and that's says it all. You wouldn't expect it from the outside. Excellent hotel in perfect location in the old town. Not the cheapest place to stay but the rooms are all quirky and individual with a lovely feel to the place. Very friendly staff and great rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. We asked for a quiet room at the back and it was very peaceful. Highly recommended.
