Stayed here for 2 nights double room with bathroom , Thought bed and bathroom facilities were very acceptable , clean towels and room cleaned each day ... Can't say I'm a fan of italian breakfast in hotels as the coffee and croissants taste so much nicer elsewhere !! ... Location of the hotel is good but have read that certain... More

Stayed here with my brother for an overnight. Checked in late without a reservation, but this was not a problem. The front desk personnel were very nice. The room was very spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. Our room was across from the train tracks, but this did not bother us. We had a balcony that faced a... More

San Giorgio is a typical small hotel in a medium sized city. Everything works, even if it is a bit dated. Clean rooms, friendly staff and good wifi. In the booking we asked for 3 twin rooms, and got 3 doubles, and it wasn't possible to change them. But the staff did their best to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast... More

Looking for a reasonably priced Hotel for a 5 day Stay in Bergamo, I chose the San Giorgio, which was very central. It was about a 20 minute walk to Bergamo Alto we also took the train to Lake Como, and again the train to Milan. Very glad we decided to stay in Bergamo and not Milan. Feel it was... More

This hotel is comfortable, clean and friendly, and walking distance of the Railway Station. I thought it was good value. Bergamo is a lovely town full of interest and good food. Stop here rather than Milan! Lake Como is 20 miles or so, fabulous. You can ski not far north of here too, With Ryanair I did 4 nights so... More

Having been let down by the accommodation we booked in Bergamo, the gentleman at this hotel who we (4 ladies) nicknamed Romeo, let us book in at a very late hour on a very wet night and then organised for us to go to a restaurant so we could eat as we had been travelling all day. He was so... More

The hotel is well accessible for travelers by train or Ryanair low-cost airlanes arriving to Orio al Serio airport. Good hub for making short 1-day trips to Milano, Brescia, Verona, etc. Our family used the triple room in the ground floor. I must now confirm that some critical opinions written here previously are true, BUT ... We spent in this... More

This hotel is way past its sell by daye and urgently needs a makeover. I certainly wouldn't describe the building as historic and neither was it "near" the railway station. It is located on a very busy and very noisy juntion of two busy roads. If you like to have your windows open be prpared not to get much sleep.... More

We stayed 3 nights at hotel and visited daily in fantastic Old Town. Very friendly people in the reception and also good english spoken. Hotel is situated nearby the railway station and some traffic noise could be heard at night time. New towels every morning is, in my opinion, good service. Breakfast at the top of hotel roof gave good... More
