Never have I been to a hotel where I experienced the marvelous hospitality that I did at the Hotel Alfierii! The staff was extremely accommadating, friendly and made me feel like family. There may be fancier hotels in Italy but no one could have been more kind or helpful then the staff here! The rooms were clean and adequate and... More

Hotel near busy main road, location 1mile + from Sirmione walk to bus stop from hotel, pavement was badly broken and uneven, could'nt open window because of noise from traffic till after midnight, and again from 4am. Staff unfriendly, hardly any english spoken, lighting in corridors dismal, air conditioning worked now and then, very poor standard in bedrooms/bathrooms, food in... More

Excellent pool on the roof with lovely views, hotel very clean but could be so much better with just a little effort. The lighting in the upstairs corridors was so dim it was dangerous (if it worked at all!) Two accidents during our stay due to guests not being able to see steps. Hotel seems to function with a very... More

The swimming pool and surrounding areas were excellent with plenty of sunbeds. The pool was unheated. The bar was good with reasonable prices and good measures. The biggest letdown was the food.... The hotel was fine, lovely views from the top, rooms were fine, clean, with a safe. The food was abysmal. Pasta that tasted as though it came out of a tin, packet soup, the next course was a slice of meat, to finish a fruit salad 2 days (no ice cream or cream with it) or cake out of the... More
